NJPW has the G1, AJPW has the Champions' Carnival, while since 2010 NOAH has had the Global League; this year, however, the tournament has been rechristened the N-1 Victory, another round robin tournament with the same scoring system, but with a newly streamlined roster of talent.
Last year's field of 16 has been narrowed down to 10, divided into the following blocks:
A BLOCK Naomichi Marufuji (A block is Ace block anywhere you go!) Takashi Sugiura Go Shiozaki Masa Kitamiya Alexander Hammerstone (from MLW's The Dynasty, as NOAH and MLW now have a working relationship) - already beat Shiozaki for 2 points
B BLOCK Katsuhiko Nakajima - already beat Mochizuki for 2 points Shuhei Taniguchi Kenoh Masaaki Mochizuki El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr.
If you're still worn out from G1 season, this smaller field should definitely be a bit more digestible...plus, c'mon, you get to watch Sugiura and Nakajima kill fools left and right. Final show will include Kaito Kiyomiya, the budding new ace of NOAH, getting to tag in a 6-man with Keiji Mutoh and Jun Akiyama.
Some NOAH matches get uploaded directly to their YouTube account if they're not made for tape, otherwise there are some twitter accounts that keep close tabs on NOAH that can direct you toward legal methods of viewing.
