I know Roman used to get hate when he was the main guy.... but IMO Seth is easily a worse character.
I loved Rollins in 2012-2016 but ever since he became a face, I’ve found him extremely corny and unlikeable. His matches are still good, I admit... but I just can’t find myself rooting for him as a good guy.
He’s got a whiny voice and comes across as really phony. Whereas when he was a heel, he came across “cool” and natural. Like a cartoon super villain. He had the evil laugh and the two-toned hair, it worked.
Anyone else desperate for this guy to turn heel again?

Rollins had like, one really solid period as a face when he was working off Dean Ambrose's trust issues from the Shield breakup. Otherwise, he's been a lot better as a heel.

He's not in my top ten or anything like that right now, but he's fine. I wouldn't mind a heel turn, though.

I think you'll get a lot of people on here who feel that way; not me necessarily.
Although someone on here suggested turning Rollins and Lynch heel together and honestly at this point that feels like the best direction to go in.

I'm cool with him as a face. They're having him be one of the only faces who's not dumb (Braun situation showed that), he wins matches but he has weaknesses, he's brave when he needs to be and finally if the situation calls for it, he doesn't take shit as seen when he went around beating people with chairs due to the situation he was in.

Spare me HHH jr, round 2, and I would love a heel turn.

When your only characters traits are "being a champion", "likes his job" and then comes across as whiny and entitled in interviews elsewhere, it's hard to come across as likable because there's not much to like.

Is it just WWE's style of booking that makes people hate their chosen top guys? Because Seth Rollins is by all accounts a guy who came up in the indies and ROH outside of the WWE system which theoretically is what people on the Internet have been demanding WWE push for decades and now that they have firmly picked one of those guys as their chosen guy everyone hates him. I do think Seth's outside interviews have greatly contributed to people's opinions on him souring but as far as strictly television kayfabe terms I don't think he's that bad as a good guy.

I think if he stays off twitter he is fine as a face... they also have to keep him away from Baron Corbim

He puts me off of watching about as hard as all the other annoying John Cena clones this decade have. The only difference is that he's probably the worst talker of them all so far.

I don't see it as a Seth issue, but rather an issue with babyface champs in general. Other than the first couple months of Kofi's title reign, it's like they have no idea where to go with them after they have their big moment. It's easy to get people behind a babyface when they're chasing a title, it's getting people to want to see them hold onto it that they usually have a hard time with.

It is true that in WWEland, they're a lot better at having face challengers than face champions. Ironically, I think John Cena was one of the better face champs because he was good at the fighting champion thing and also had way better heels to work with.

The thing is, he was a shit babyface on the indies, too. He was one of the dullest ROH face champions there was, and yes, a part of that was ROH waiting until the rapture to pull the trigger on him, but part of it was on him, too. He's always, ALWAYS been a better heel than face.

I just don’t get what they see in him. He’s a guy that can wrestle well on a roster full of guys that can wrestle well. What about Seth makes him stand out though?
