That was fun, but if folks think that was a disgustingly violent match, I'm looking forward to the reactions to the inevitable Mox vs Penta feud.

What Mox went through is nothing compared to how hard Renee is gonna kick his ass for doing this when he gets home. It might as well be a massage after what he went through

I picture Terry Funk and Mick Foley appearing as force ghosts in the arena behind Mox, nodding approvingly. (They're not dead, they just took a bump into a dumpster full of luminous paint.)

Nothing to do with anything, but the way Mox addressed the camera right there is painfully similar to how my boyfriend speaks when he's drunk I'm worried when people use "painfully" in that context. :/

It would be interesting to see the fight backstage with what they would be allowed to use. Both would probably fight to the death to get tubes allowed but management would never let it happen.

I am not sure what the hell I just watched! I felt it went way too far at times but at the same time couldn’t take my eyes off it!
I am hoping that the majority of props used were gimmicked otherwise that was just plain stupid. The glass must have been at the very least.
It was memorable if nothing else!

I have to digest this show to decide how much I liked it, but I liked it a whole goddamn lot, I'll say that much.
Page being the only Elite member to win his match has got to play into things. I wonder if that will make him more content in the group, to be on equal footing, or if he's going to want to go his own way.

I think it ties back to the premiere where he didn't come out to help in the big beatdown at the end, and then on BTE they called him out on it. Now Cody has his own problem to deal with outside of the Inner Circle and everything is starting to fall apart for the group, which is probably the right call. Split them up, let them be on their own for a few years, and then have them come back for a big huge team-up when it'll be a money match

Bruh, I didn't even think of that. *chef kiss* Another thing I thought of: we also have a potential match with Moxley and Minoru Suzuki since Suzuki has said that he wants a match with him

He was part of the group that brought out the barbed wire table thing for Kenny, so there's probably some connection still there.

That said, with Inner Circle being a thing, it's asinine for them to break up entirely now in terms of self preservation, but I do think they will be focusing on their own thing more. Page did still drive off Hager once and team with Omega to beat PAC and was on the same page, so if they do split, I don't think it has to be acrimonious, especially since AEW isn't hurting for heels and "cowboy shit" is getting Page over plenty as a face.

When I say years I even mean just like. One or two. Enough time of not teaming and doing their thing for it to be exciting when they come back. I point to the Shield and how they never really got far enough apart for their interactions to really be as impactful as they could have been, because they were always feuding.

I don't even know how to react to that main event. The irony is that my friend his wife were over for this PPV and he was like "Well, since this match doesn't count and doesn't matter we're outta here" after the Cody/Jericho match. I just sent a text telling him they shouldn't have left, haha.

Looking at her Twitter posts, it occurred to me:
Has Renee never seen any of Jon's pre-WWE stuff?
Like, she seemed pretty distressed, while this used to be a bi-weekly thing for Mox.

That was probably the most insane match I've ever seen, and I loved every moment of it.
I was getting tired, but the last match literally had me standing up in front of the tv and yelling stuff like "Oh shit!"
I'm wide awake now. I was gonna watch MLW on YouTube since I'm still awake, but they haven't put it up yet.

Hangman’s finding his footing as a face, so it’d be kinda dumb for him to go heel so suddenly. He could be Jericho’s next challenger.

Honestly, I'd rather he not face Jericho unless he's winning, but they did have a good match their first go-round.

I just meant "painful" as in "can't unsee"

Yeah, I've seen gorier matches with lightubes resulting in people taking rides to the hospital in order to not die of blood loss, but this match's real calling was blending just a little bit of that deathmatch flavor with Kenny's high octane style. It was really the best of both worlds for me in that sense. And I can't wait for them to unleash Penta on these guys too.
