I pulled up the NYCC App and spotted this in the Panels. And yes, I will be attending that day. I'm hoping this will be when they announce when AEW is coming to the City.

Last time I was at NYCC was for a Friday in 2014. It was a lot of fun, but man was it claustrophobic. I also got to meet Mick Foley when I was in line for hot dogs at a food cart outside the Javits Center.
IIRC, NYCC gets even more people per year than San Diego. Just that SDCC's considered a bigger deal because it's a lot closer to Hollywood and summer's a prime time for big announcements and such.

Yeah, and the crazy part is, the Javitts Center where they have it at is massive. And it's still packed to the gills with people. Even Sunday, when things wind down, ends up being overstuffed. They've moved events and panels to MSG's Hulu Theater and the Hammerstein, and there's still an overwhelming amount. Fornutately, I'm pretty good with handling crowds, and I spend almost all of my time waiting for panels anyways.

Made it easier to take a breather outside when the weather is generally more pleasant as opposed to the oppressive Manhattan summers.

I think this will surprise people and be tapped quickly. So if you’re attending the show, I recommend getting in the line for this panel ASAP.

At least there are Black people in New York finally.

Only way that would've been better is if Mox had a drink in his hand and cared more about safeguarding the drink than the actual fight.

As expected, the line for their panel was capped a good half hour before it started. They also closed off the area around the Syfy live area, and you could hear AEW chants from the middle of the show floor (the live area was against a side wall).

Apologies to the Felicia Day panel if our chanting disrupted her panel, lol! I honestly was shocked that there were so many people who showed up for it, not that I should have been, NYCC seems really good at attracting wrestling fans, between WWE stars making appearances, stuff like Headlocked comics having a booth there, and various fans cosplaying as wrestlers. But to see so many people there specifically for AEW really warmed my heart. I was near the front of the queue line, and the best seat I could find was somewhere in the 6th row off to the side wall. It's crazy the turnout, and it was definitely the rowdiest panel of the weekend. Not many panels end with everyone standing on the chairs to get a better view of a brawl on the stage.

Also, after the brawl, Cody got on the mic, said that they were working towards getting AEW to NYC, and that if you wanted it at MSG, at Barclay Center, at Hammerstein, to tweet them demanding AEW, but they were coming in 2020. Cody and crew then gave out 20 tickets to the Philly show. Class act all the way.

That's great. Part of me was hoping for any update on video games or figures, but while we know they've done face scans for one or both, I guess this is still early for that kind of news.

Yeah, would have been nice. I was also disappointed that PWTees didn't have a booth at the show, because I think they left money on the table not selling merch somewhere on the floor, but considering how much booth space costs, it was probably not worth it at the end of the day (they gave out awesome posters of the DC art that was put out earlier, sadly, I didn't get one, but that was about it.)

Yeah, it was probably prohibitively expensive to sell stuff there, but still, maybe next year.

I have to point out: -Jericho being in an unbuttoned jacket with no shirt -Moxley being entirely unfazed by the brawl starting
