This is one of my favorite movies of all time. On every level it is completely preposterous; the plot, the acting (at times), the special effects. Its completely cheesy, but it is still played completely strait, which is great. And to be honest, it's still fairly scary - particularly the part where they are hiding underground.

I was three years old when my older brother decided I needed to see this during its original theatrical run.

Yeah, those are some good moments where they have to wait and when they think it's gone, it isn't.

On the casting the Italians instead of Native Americans went on until at least the 90's...
Nightwolf from Mortal Kombat was played by Sal Divita
