People claim they want shock L's. well they got one This is like "people want new stars why aren't you happy with Gunner and Crimson??" in TNA. Not exactly a comparison to what I presented New stars would be Crimson and his undefeated streak or Magnus winning the TNA title and being booked like a chump

Well, yall wanted the belt off Kofi. 🤷🏻‍♂️ For me, I wanted it to be anyone but Brock Lesnar, but I also wanted the match to be longer than a Lesnar-Goldberg match.

I Paraphrasing, But Cole said something about Cain being a “real tough guy”. Implying that everyone else in the back isn’t. I know he was reerencing Heeyman ms promo, but it just exacerbated the problem. And they wonder why the can’t create new stars.

I really don't think it's overreacting at all to say this killed every bit of Kofi's credibility. The entire build was Brock going, "Ha, this guy's a joke, I'm going to f***ing kill him," and then he beat Kofi with absolutely no effort whatsoever, then Kofi was immediately swept aside to focus on a has-been from another sport, and this happened on the first show on network TV.
Why on earth would anyone who watched this week see Kofi as anything but absolutely f***ing pathetic after that?

I sat through seeing Kofi win at Mania so you guys had to sit through that. Back to the mid card for Kofi where he belongs. It’s great to see the WWE title back where it belongs. And if you don’t like it, I got two words for you. Boo Hoo!!!!!!!! Never on tv and on a guy who refuses to do more than three moves and wrestle for more than ten minutes? Yeah, piss on that.

It's not so much Brock winning that bugged me, it's Kofi running into an F5 right at the start like he's Mike Kanellis or some shit and then Cain Velasquez of all people coming out. From what I've read on here he's actually good at this wrestling stuff, but still, I just can't get excited about this at all.

I watched with 2 people who never watch wrestling, and they assumed ahead of time that would be the result. As much as people hate it, it was the logical result. In their minds there was no way Kofi could win. I don't hate it.

Kofi deserved to lose in a real match. You basically just told us that the guy who carried the top belt for half a year is a joke.

This is typical WWE.
WWE would rather cater to the chance of mainstream publicity for using a UFC fighter than to its own fans.
It’s just so expected from them at this point.

Not even surprised enough to be disappointed lol. They Should have at least let him have an actual match.
Good thing there's an alternative to this this type of shit now.

Never really cared for Kofi’s run in the first place and glad to see it end like that. Long live the reign of Lesnar!

On the week of AEW Dynamite's debut, it was really nice of WWE to reassure Cody that if he'd stuck around, put on his best work, gotten the fans behind him, and on top of all that been in the right place at the right time for a push to really catch fire and propel him into the main event, he'd still be tossed aside like garbage the minute they had another part-timer gimmick lined up.
The lost generation indeed. I hope Morrison talked them into a shitload of $$$ on his new contract, because we all know he's going to wind up right back with the rest of his contemporaries in the pecking order.

Didn’t see the show but just saw a clip on YouTube.
I can’t comprehend how anyone is defending this. A babyface champion getting squashed in 10 seconds by one move is not how a face title reign should end. If Kofi was a HTM type of heel, then this ending would have been great, but this just made it look like he wasn’t in Lesnar’s league, while other smaller talent was giving Brock good fights even in defeat over the past year.
Some here are either playing devils advocate or enjoy watching good guys get killed in entertainment. If they were building towards a rematch then maybe this would be fine but Kofi was forgotten about seconds later.

Haven’t seen it, f*** you Dish, but reading it was interesting and gives Kofi a new mountain to climb, a new chapter for him and New Day to write. I get the anger but sometimes crazy can be fun.

"typical WWE" kinda ignores what was a great 6 month reign

They didn't even mention Kofi's name for the last 7 minutes of the broadcast, he straight up vanished off TV.

Gonna be interesting to see the fan response to this in the next couple of weeks. 18 seconds at Mania 28 had a significant impact, but who knows if the same fan passion is there for Kofi like it was for Bryan.
