Pretty big news. Wonder if it will be like DDT/TJPW going forward. Maybe they will combine streaming services?

It's a move that makes sense, interesting.

Big news. They have the biggest Male promotion and now the Biggest Female promotion
WK is a 2 day event, is there a chance that Stardom is represented at it?

Interesting
No doubt they keep the promotions separate as far as not combining Stardom into NJPW but I do wonder if we will start seeing some Stardom matches on NJPW cards

Guess that was the big news out of Japan that people were saying was coming. I see them being kept as separate promotions. I still don’t see New Japan itself having a women’s division. I’m not against the idea. I just don’t think they want one on their shows.

Better than say a Suzukigun or Bullet Club tag.

On Twitter, Mayu said there will be a press conference at 2 PM (Japan time), so perhaps that will give some more clarity.

I wouldn’t mind it but I just have the impression they’re happy doing their own thing and not involving the women. Kind of a “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” mentality. Maybe they’d be concerned that their fans wouldn’t care for the women and they don’t want to turn them off.

I guess the reason even a rejection is news is because it has heavy implications as to WWE's intentions, since I don't think this means they're giving up on getting a foothold in Japan. I could see them having a match or two on some of their big shows, but I doubt it'd be a thing where it's being integrated into the show proper or anything.

I'm guessing they'll be sister promotions like DDT and TJPW. Or how ROH and SHIMMER worked back in the day though I don't think they were ever owned by the same people. That would be best for New Japan and STARDOM both IMO as opposed to merging the two companies.
That said, I certainly wouldn't mind seeing a STARDOM match or two during the bigger NJPW shows like Wrestle Kingdom and Dominion.

Interesting that WWE would want to acquire NOAH.

For the record, the NXT Japan rumors are still going in regards to Sekimoto/Satomura.
Stardom says they want to try and run Sumo Hall in 2020. This kind of backing could definitely help them.

Some clarity:
For the record, this info was released before it was said in the press conference (which I'm watching now lol)

The full time contract clause could mean Riho and Bea having to make some decisions.
Edit: Shit, same with Natsu Sumire!

So is Rossy going to be involved still at all? I’m crossing my fingers Natsu signs on full time. She seemed to be on more cards as of late. Tamu is going to be 30 minutes from me in December?? I’m there!

Don't mean to message spam, but they said Riho will keep competing in Stardom.

No STARDOM on NJPW World seems like a bit of a weird move, given you'd figure it'd make the streaming service more enticing.
