Is it me or do japanese ballplayers never seem to fight. I remember someone (Tony Batista maybe) got hit and charged the mound as a joke. That didn't stop the pitcher from trying to run away.

Ugh #2...I cringe with horror everytime I see that.
The sad thing is...that was Mike Cameron's last game as a Met.

Is it me or do japanese ballplayers never seem to fight. I remember someone (Tony Batista maybe) got hit and charged the mound as a joke. That didn't stop the pitcher from trying to run away. I remember Chan Ho Park hitting a roundhouse kick on someone when he was still with the Dodgers. As a Ranger fan, that is the only good thing I can think of when the name Chan Ho Park comes up.

As a Met fan, the same though he could still contribute. By the way, Tim Belcher was the reciever of said kick. Not that it matters but Chan Ho Park is Korean, not japanese.
