Don't get me wrong, I don't agree with it, but I can kinda understand why some wrestlers either in the big leagues or the indy scene get angry at fans.
Imagine having to deal with the level of shit that some wrestlers deal with? I believe you can only bottle up emotions before it comes out.
Wrestlers are human beings and humans all have a breaking point. But it seems that fans can talk shit about wrestlers, but when that wrestler responds, they're the bad guy?
Can someone help me understand why fans can talk crap about wrestlers, but when wrestlers respond, we mock them for it?

It's one thing to lash out at idiots harassing you, while you shouldn't do that constantly I don't think an occasional time doing that is any big deal depending on the circumstances. It's quite another when you decide to Seth Rollins it and go on constant tangents about how people are wrong for not endlessly lavishing the show with praise or for not enjoying the work you're putting out.

Oh, of course, Seth went way overboard with his comments, but if it's only once from someone, I wouldn't hold it against them.

It's ok for someone to get angry. It's only human for anyone to feel angry at a large amount of loud complaints. However: Can someone help me understand why fans can talk crap about wrestlers, but when wrestlers respond, we mock them for it? What way too many wrestlers tend to do is use the "you couldn't possibly understand" at the fan that has never wrestled. Wrestling world keeps their own forcefield around their business, only to yell at fans when they say anything about wrestling, screaming at fans that fans don't have any understanding of the wrestling world and would have no possible way of really knowing, DESPITE THE FACT THAT PEOPLE IN WRESTLING INTENTIONALLY MADE IT SO. That's extreme and unapologetic entitlement. That's why fans hate wrestlers who hate them first.

Wrestlers have to deal with way less criticism than football, baseball or NBA stars and yet they do about three thousand percent more whining about it.

It's the most puzzling thing too, somehow that it's only people in wrestling that do any of this. The term 'armchair quarterback' originated from non-footballers thinking they can give one too many pointers to the people actually playing the game of football, as if they can somehow know more about the game sitting on the couch than the actual people on the field. AND YET you almost never hear any NFL player outright spewing hate at the entire football fanbase. You never hear anything close to "So you didn't like how I threw the ball? Stop watching NFL then."

Because ultimately, those wrestlers have a job because those fans are willing to pay to see them. When fans don't pay to see you, you don't draw any money and you don't get hired anywhere. It's shooting themselves in the foot. They don't exist without the fans so then having a go at the fans for some minor transgression somebody has said on social media is ridiculous.

I bet those NBA, baseball and football players all actually get paid something more resembling “a fair amount” for their efforts than the wrestlers do though tbf and probably don’t have to drive themselves hundreds of miles each week. More potential room for frustration and outbursts when you’re getting treated like cattle.

Plus I'm pretty sure football players suffer ,physically even more than WWE wrestler. Plus Plus ,usually the ones that blame the fans are the ones making top bank in the top card of WWE,like Seth Rollins,Roman,or office workers.

Perhaps. But like all celebrities, wrestlers are public figures to one degree or another and as such should usually conduct themselves in a civil manner. Or at least try to.
It depends on the situation, though, and I've seen warranted AND unwarranted incidents break out.
Don't get me started on "heels should act like heels, long live kayfabe, etc. etc." either.

It's okay to not blame them, for getting mad at fans. At the same time, there's times when they say unwarranted things. Seth is a different person (seemingly), but, calling female fans "ring rats"... not a good look.
I met Batista, after he first became champion. He was kind of rude, but I've also heard stories where he was very nice. I can respect that.

Neither do I
I think a lot of fans are very entitled and think they can say shit without repercussion. Some things is going way overboard like saying disrespectful things to Roman after his brother died or telling the women in the ring who dicks they suck or f***
However, some should know better. Seth has idiot tendencies and so does Bray at points. It is a mixed bag that will never really have a middle ground

Yeah, Bray seems like if he gets any surlier on Twitter he'll hit full Goldust. Yea, Bray seems like he looks for tweets as opposed to people actually saying something to him At this point if people start saying Husky Harris and block them he def will go full Goldust

I do blame them for blowing their gaskets, but I understand why. There is a growing discontentment amongst fans (by folks who, let's face it, are growing more and more unstable as people in general) that is getting ugly, and while some wrestlers/celebrities are handling it well, others are losing their grips & are not.
I also feel like there's a growing trend in the companies that employ these folks of accepting these blow ups and downright villainizing fans - either specifically or in general - that is going to probably make things even worse amongst the fanbase.

Most of us have been to live shows. Picture the worst types of fans you've seen in a wrestling crowd. Think about the shirts they're wearing, the things they yell, the chants they try to start, the know-it-all things they say to the people around them. And since the late 1990s, a large segment of them are also aware of "insider" information about the performers and the backstage environment that they've found easily on the internet. I can see why wrestlers would develop some disdain for the "marks." For every cute kid innocently watching the show on any given night, there have to be at least two grown dumbasses. And on social media, you don't have cute kids to balance it out. The dumbass ratio skyrockets.
If I were a wrestler, I'd stay off social media unless I was a heel in character. Trying to make the performers accessible outside the TV show means they have no "off hours" from fans being stupid, and too many of them don't know how to handle it and wind up embarrassing themselves when they hit back.

I should mention, any time I've met someone, was during a sanctioned event. I am not going to go up to someone, after a show, and hound them, or try to talk to them if I saw them around here.
