In kayfabe the mist is the equivalent getting pepper sprayed. She should have been crawling around the ring in agony, and screating in pain after she got hit with it. Instead she shows a half ass reaction to the mist. What do you think? It was unbearable and killed the use of the mist.

I think she has major neck issues and it's f***ing abhorrent to complain that she didn't throw herself on the ground.
But that's just me.

She may only be able to move that way, having her neck issues, and recently having surgery.

I mean, her finding her way to a corner, and sitting down while screaming about it burning would've been better.
Her sell looked more like "Dammit, Asuka. I asked for the news, not the weather... can I please get a towel?"
But, to be honest.. I had completely forgotten about her as their manager. So it could've just... like.. not been done at all, too.

It's kind of funny to me they bothered to bring her back just to do this. It's like they had a discussion and realized "Oh yeah, we forgot she managed them. Let's use her to solidify the heal turn."
I don't think most people sell the mist by flailing on the ground though. Most just whirls around and clutch their eyes or something before getting hit by a finisher.

I wish it was done in a pre-taped segment and they could have CGI'ed in some hardcore face melting action like from Raiders of the Lost Ark.
Then have Paige come out with a band-aid on her forehead the next week.

I’d have to assume the green mist is meant to be the same feeling as getting shampoo in your eyes while you’re in the shower... It just stings like a motherf***er.

She was acting as badly as Lilian when she got knocked off the apron and sprained her ankle

My honest to god thought is they did this because they want people to turn into the next FOX Backstage show to get "Paige's reaction."
No need to do it all around. If she couldn't bump or sell it like a normal athlete does, then just don't do it. Did more harm than good to the mist spot.

I don't except her to take a bump considering her neck issues, but even then, people who got misted by Tajiri didn't go down because of the mist, but because Tajiri would kick them square in the dome after the mist.

If her neck is so messed up that she can’t go down to a knee, then either...
1. Don’t include her in the angle (I had honestly forgotten her affiliation with TKW)
2. Have them back her into the corner & get her sitting down before the most spot. She could have just laid on her side & gotten out of the ring.

She was acting as badly as Lilian when she got knocked off the apron and sprained her ankle W....wasn't that an actual accident and not something she had to sell? (And I have a feeling that if she had to "act badly" it's because if she'd actually reacted naturally to a real injury, she would've gotten in trouble...)

You're wrong.

(And I have a feeling that if she had to "act badly" it's because if she'd actually reacted naturally to a real injury, she would've gotten in trouble...) I was getting two things mixed up. She hurt her wrist. At the time a report came out that she was over the top about her injury when it was a light sprain and that a lot of wrestlers were rolling their eyes about it. Paige obnoxiously demanding water made me think of that.

It's better than they way she usually sells....you know what, I can't end this sentence in any way; but it was supposed to be a Paige Here joke.

Tell that to Lex Luger and the other victims of the mist. m.youtube.com/watch?v=DuCOx0UcWUoThe green one stings but the red one actually f***s you up.

I think that people were just so taken with the way that Kendrick sold it (since he actually did flail around on the ground while squealing like a stuck pig) that they wonder why nobody else sells it that way.

I think it was actually a pretty clever way to ditch someone who couldn't bump and she did her best. I thought the reaction was fine.
