Did a teensy bit of sleuthing on the alleged sockpuppet's twitter and uh twitter.com/im24tank/with_replies yeah this feed screams of being a throwaway sockpuppet for someone in the company. Like it's not even sort of subtle.

Not going to embed them here due to language, but Joey is now tweeting about Juice Robinson's brief ROH stint: -A seemingly random Twitter account makes a point that Juice left ROH in part because Mercury pissed him off, saying it was "ironic" given the current circumstances. -Mercury says people in ROH are telling him that Twitter account is likely a burner one for Greg the Office Boy. -Mercury then posts texts messages he sent to Juice Robinson, asking Juice to confirm or deny that Joey was a factor in Juice leaving. -Juice responds: No, Joey was not a factor in him leaving, he left because he wanted to move to Japan to commit full time to NJPW, plus because ROH "paid [him] about a third" of what they should. That last part would be particularly damning; Juice and Finley being in ROH regularly to form Lifeblood was a big show of goodwill from NJPW, Delirious clearly wanted to book them to be important, but this seems to be saying that, again, management decided they weren't worth the money or something. Don't know if this means Juice didn't get paid an agreed upon rate or if it's an argument that he was simply worth more than they were paying him, but once again it's a bad look. More and more it's clear that the office guys are from the modern way of viewing business: everybody's a MBA with no concept of how business decisions impact people or the long term health of a company, instead just looking for "how can we turn a profit as quickly as possible" even if it means gutting an investment, turning off fans/consumers, and ruining that investment's potential for future success. That exactly lines up with the company ethos.

twitter.com/JOEYnRetrograde/status/1198454398516695040Not embeded due to language, but HOLY SHIT! I mean, these are their top people. That is some utter contempt for your main event talent. You think Taven has buyer's remorse on his resigning yet? You think Marty and Flip aren't counting the days until their deals expire?

Mercury is torching this company and I'm here for it. Confirmation they didn't strap up Marty because he was going to leave is nice, but even nicer is just seeing the delightful fire starting to burn right now. Taven was supposed to be their guy, seeing the office people shittalk him is probably going to change the tune on some of these "ROH has treated me with respect" posts from people, who certainly aren't doing anything wrong by saying that, but who are definitely going to think twice about giving the company even that much defense right now. Holy shit.

Strange to see in 2019 TNA is looking slightly better than Ring Of Honor.

Lost in the big story of Greg burying Marty, Flip, and Taven, is the fact that he can't even comprehend how nearly empty Smackdown shows make the crowd look full. Yes, WWE shows do arrange their audience so as much of the audience is on the hard cam is possible, but they don't have to ask their fans to move closer. Because, they just don't sell those sections until everything else is gone, and put tarps on what they don't sell. Meanwhile, ROH has all those seats on the open market anyway so their shows look even more sparsely attended than they have to.

Four f***ing times he wanted Marty to win at MSG but they went with Taven who, predictably, bombed.
Dawg, WE could have booked and made more money than what they ended up doing

So much potential bullshit On one hand, I think Dixie's scum who was more than willing to look foolish to escape culpability, but I also think she could have been smart enough to leave less of a paper trail than Greg seemingly has. I have made no secret of how bullshit I think Impact's handling of the Kloss situation has been, but I still would handily say I trust them more than I do ROH in 2019. I wish that were not the case, since i do still have misgivings about Anthem, but they are less shady than Sinclair.

The crowd was mainly there for New Japan but he was easily the most popular ROH star at the show. I don’t think Taven is that bad and he’s got skill, but the air was sucked out the building when he won (at least until the IWGP match).

Am I the only one who noticed that Greggums doesn't seem to know who Enzo and Cass even are? He sounds like he's on autopilot the whole way.
Also LOL The whole Enzo Cass debacle seems to be Delirious's brainchild. Yeesh.

I hope people don't lose the focus of the narrative. Poor booking decisions are poor booking decisions, and every promotion has had them; this whole thing is bigger than that.

This obviously is part of a bigger issue than incompetence, but also downright negligence. Yeah, I think the Marty part kind of ties the poor booking in with the negligence: "we strap someone up and then they leave"...well, wait, the show was in goddamn APRIL, and Marty's contract is only ending NOW, plus he's apparently agreed to stick around no matter what through Final Battle. I could get the argument that winning at MSG is a huge thing and you want to give that moment to someone who'll be around longer than the end of the year, but you knew the crowd wanted Marty to win and would have left the show with a more positive buzz about ROH, which should've been the entire goal of that card for them, plus it'd have still given you months to generate more interest in the company with Marty on top while you plan for life without him. Delirious isn't a perfect booker by any stretch (seriously dude, you signed off on the Enzo/Cass thing at MSG?), but Joey sharing this stuff just makes it clear that he and Delirious both were/are reporting to people who have no idea how wrestling works. Then the company doesn't grow, the talent gets restless, and Greg's answer is "you're all just not drawing hard enough"...behind their backs in texts to people forced to speak personally to the wrestlers and make that sound nicer, of course. This obviously isn't as big a deal as their horrid negligence on concussions and other injuries, nor their poverty-level wages for full time women's wrestlers, but it bespeaks the larger issues of life under this management team.

Strange to see in 2019 TNA is looking slightly better than Ring Of Honor. Never count them out. Being the #1 trash fire was kinda all they had, Now they'll miss out the morbid curiosity viewers tuning in to see a company on its last legs.
