Two things I'll admit I'm confused about viewing those last two tweets:
1. Does this mean that the Enzo/Cass debacle was Joey's idea? It reads as though Delirious green-lit it, but Joey himself thought of and produced it. & 2. He clearly stands up for Flip when Greg questions his drawing ability, but doesn't that convo start with Joey stooging Flip's text off to Greg?

I believe the idea behind Enzo & Cass was to give a surprise pop for the promotion... and then the two would, you know, stick around? But for whatever reason, that was a one-off and it became a waste of time. So, during the time after the Supercard, it was likely that Greg killed the idea to continue the angle & Delirious and Bully Ray (presumably) took Greg's side. Now, having these two nitwits involved in 2019 was a dumb idea to start but pretending it never happened was just as dumb. 2. More than likely, Joey was, at the time, trying to keep his job, as Sinclair Broadcasting doesn't encourage groupthink, given how people (for one example) at Sinclair owned stations are often fired for not following policies for sticking to their strict point of view on positions. If Greg believed X, everyone else had to agree with X. Defending Flip Gordon & Villain Enterprises as a whole would likely have pissed off a guy who was dead set on sticking to Matt Taven & the Briscoes as the future since it would imply that Greg may be wrong. It's pretty clear Joey did some crap in ROH, but it seems he is trying to atone for those actions and is out of f***s to give in the industry. So if he's going down, he's taking down ROH with him.

Joey wasn't stooging him off, he was showing his supervisor that a high profile employee who is a flight risk was (rightfully) complaining about the state of the company. Joey was backing him up and providing possible ways forward to Greg, who just didn't care

Exactly, but it means a lot more when it's coming from a soon-to-be free agent and high-profile employee

For Enzo and Cass, from everything I've heard a few talent knew about the plan and told those in charge who were booking it that it wasnt a good idea. They were scheduled to have s run, but the people in charge were shocked at the negative reaction from both the fans and New Japan

I can't embed them here because open n word in a screencap, but another sockpuppet account has been drummed up, this one mass-following people tied to Joey's twitter, that looks to be trying to smear him as a racist with yet-unmaterialized promised texts and shit. It's getting weirder and nuttier, but Joey's at this point earned all the benefit of the doubt as weird socks keep coming up to shit talk him and he keeps proving all the claims he makes.

Remember that poll from a little while ago that asked who's having a worst 2019...between WWE, ROH & CMLL? Well, I think we can call it & announce ROH as the winners.
...Now, watch something crazy from WWE or CMLL happen before the year ends.

And the thing is, even if he was a raging racist, it wouldn't disprove any of his points. It might make me hesitant to see him in certain places, but everything he has said about ROH would still stand.

Oh yeah, it wouldn't inherently invalidate any of that, but I think the idea that someone is trying to discredit Joey with what is still, realistically, a pretty hard shutdown button--amid everything else being tossed out with the Juice rumours and shit--tells me that unless it's just someone having a laugh, the people he's exposing have literally no way to save face and are trying desperately to silence him however they can.

That's exactly what it is. The front office seems to be freaking out because they have no defense

Both Cheese and Silas come off as lifers so I wonder if it is pressure from the office or just fear for their future.

And with Silas getting a look from WWE and then signing with ROH, I'm pretty sure there wasn't a lot of interest in other places.
