That's the best attendance for a card with no NJPW involvement in Japan this year, edging out Dragon Gate, and about 500-600 fewer people than they got into Sumo Hall for the big card last year where KENTA came back to face Marufuji. This has been in the making for awhile and it's great to see NOAH's rebirth/rebrand bearing fruit, especially given how they went from being bailed out by Bushiroad/NJPW, to facing bankruptcy, to facing a buyout by WWE, so this is one of the best comeback stories in the industry.
They're not quite the consistent draw that DG and DDT are right now - NOAH's starting to draw more per show, but the others put shows on more often, and God knows DDT doesn't care about running a show in, I dunno, a library or something with like 30 people around - but their current trend is strong, and I'm really hoping this leads to NOAH expanding their availability in other regions eventually the way that NJPW, DDT, TJPW, AJPW, and Stardom have, even if it's partly through the affiliations they've built with companies like Impact and MLW.
Show will apparently air next Sunday, so here's the card, no spoilers:
1. Akitoshi Saito and Masao Inoue vs. Mitsuo Momota and Tamon Honda 2. Hi69, Hitoshi Kumano, Jyunta Miyawaki, Muhammad Yone, Quiet Storm and Sonico vs. Sugiura-gun (El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr., Hajime Ohara, Kazma Sakamoto, Kazushi Sakuraba, Kinya Okada and Nosawa Rongai) OH HELL YES THERE'S A SUGIURA-GUN. 3. Atsushi Kotoge, Chris Ridgeway and Eddie Edwards vs. Masaaki Mochizuki, Minoru Tanaka and Super Crazy 4. Kazuyuki Fujita vs. Shuhei Taniguchi 5. GHC Jr. TAG TITLES: Stinger (Kotaro Suzuki and Yoshinari Ogawa) (c) vs. RATEL'S (Daisuke Harada and Tadasuke) 6. GHC Jr. TITLE: HAYATA (c) vs. YO-HEY 7. GHC HEAVYWEIGHT TAG TITLES: AXIZ (Go Shiozaki and Katsuhiko Nakajima) (c) vs. The Tough (Masa Kitamiya and Yoshiki Inamura) 8. Naomichi Marufuji vs. The Great Muta 9. GHC NATIONAL TITLE (Inaugural Match): Michael Elgin vs. Takashi Sugiura 10. GCH HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE: Kaito Kiyomiya (c) vs. Kenoh

When did NOAH start doing so well?? I thought Misawa's death left them barely clinging on as a promotion? Good to hear that they got this crowd size to a show.

That’s great to hear. Kiyomiya has been damn entertaining as their new ace, and Nakajima and KENOH have been killing it for a while, so I’m not shocked they’re on the rebound.
