I grew up on Long Island, and I think the WWE has to relook at running shows there, no matter how much more expensive MSG is. The crowd was dead almost night, and would barely pop for anything. When Adam Cole walked down, it was dead silence. And, as someone who grew up in Suffolk County, saying the Coliseum is in "Long Island, NY" is a pet peeve, there's a big difference between Hempstead and the Hamptons. When they showed the 'area,' all they showed were beach shots and one picture of Times Square, which is about 20 miles from Nassau.

Never trust a crowd that only differentiates between Zack Ryder and not Zack Ryder.

The crowds are always dead.
The competition's crowds look like they actually want to see the show.

I've personally felt this way about all NYC area crowds for a long time. If they're not sitting in silence not matter what happens, they're actively shitting on the show, again, no matter what happens.

The crowds are always dead. The competition's crowds look like they actually want to see the show. That's the problem. Somehow you had a show on Long Island and it seems like no one who went actually gave a shit. Like why the f*** are they going to the show then? If the crowd went in assuming the show would be awesome, they'd have for certain enjoyed much more of it as their dead-ness brought down a lot of the matches that were perfectly fine. Speaking as someone from Long Island, that has to be the WORST Long Island crowd I've ever seen and am glad I didn't go.

Let's be honest: there was precious little presented tonight which would have entertained a group of seniors at the home's movie night.

I lived on Long Island for 11 years total 3 in Suffolk , 8 in Nassau , during that time I went to a lot of shows at the coliseum , msg , continental airlines arena/izod center , and barclays . the coliseum was always the worst crowd never felt like a NY crowd - not sure how many actual wrestling fans were in attendance. Hempseed is Long Island - I know the area well , I worked right across the street from the coliseum

That's how Nassau Coliseum always is. They were red hot for Evolution. This show didn't give them much to pop for.

Other than Evolution and SummerSlam 2002, the Nassau Coliseum has a reputation for being one of the worst WWE crowds for atmosphere.
