Three weeks in Southern California & Arizona for my wife & I starts tomorrow. 14 hour flight from Sydney to LAX, then a 6 hour drive to Phoenix. Not looking forward to that big chunk of travel but definitely looking forward to the time away after a very tough 2019. A bit bummed I will be busy traveling & will miss out on streaming Full Gear & Takeover War Games live but super excited to head to Disneyland to see Galaxy's Edge.

I used to live in southern CA so take my word for it, you are picking the best time of year to visit. It is scorching in the summer, but the weather is absolutely beautiful in the fall.
Have fun!

I recently moved from SoCal to Yuma, AZ which is right on the way to Phoenix and I will say, it's a LOT of desert to be driving through. My best advice to you and your wife is to bring along some great driving music and takes breaks when you can.

In and Out is great But if you are in anaheim i would try phonomenal and any alfredo's burrito But that is me as a socal person I have put them on the list. We have 4 nights at an AirBnB in Lakewood so I'm sure we will be looking for some places to eat. My wife is a bit of a foodie. She lived in Pasadena for 3 years so she has a few friends to see & places to eat but we are always looking for new places to try.
