Honestly, I think the gimmick of a sort of tragic, Van Gogh style artist could be interesting, like, they could have every match be dubbed an artistic piece, they could beat their opponents and then pose their lifeless bodies and take a picture of it like it's part of an art exhibit? I don't know if anyone has gone with this style of gimmick; the only one I can think of is CHIKARA's Still Life Of Apricots and Pears.

CHIKARA had a trio called The Nouveau Aesthetic with Blank, Ursa Minor in the Night Sky and Still Life with Apricots and Pears. They were doing some fun artsy stuff until they booted Ursa out of the group and disbanded altogether later on after that.

Damn, what is it with CHIKARA and them seeming to have a thing against interesting gimmicks that used to be their bread and butter?

Some people move away or start working for other companies or become far less active for whatever reason.

There's the artist known as Shinsuke Nakamura, since Vince doesn't know the difference between Michael Jackson and Prince.

Which he lived up to on camera aside from just having the attire. You could see him painting in an interview segment he hosted....only it was on the Spanish version of Superstars only. Can we count it as one quality of Firefly Funhouse Bray Wyatt? How about Jerry Lawler? Yeah I am stretching by saying his art work came up on TV, but the character did use the Royal Magistrator too on occasion.

I think the tortured artist thing is what they were kind of doing with Jeff Hardy at some points.

I mean, BLANK and Still Life are still doing the tortured artist/work of art gimmicks, they're just not together anymore. In fact, one of the better feuds on the shows, in my opinion, is BLANK feeling that his masterpiece has been "tarnished", and is now trying to destroy Still Life.

Please tell me you've seen Cara Noir, dude.
Not quite what you're looking for but I think you'd be interested in him.
