Ok so we knew that the BTE crowd would be over, they are the whole reason this promotion even exists.
We knew that vets from the WWE would either have big name recognition like Jericho and Moxley or enough familiarity to carry them along like PAC and Spears.
But for me, the real success of AEW in their first few months is their identifying and commitment to getting young talent over. Just on this week's episode you had:
Jurassic Express Darby Allin Joey Janela Private Party all getting their own spontaneous chants from the crowd, all super over in such a natural way.
MJF had maybe the most pure heel reaction yet in AEW, the kid is a star. Sami Guevara is benefitting hugely from his association with Jericho and the Inner Circle.
This is just so awesome to see. It's selfless on the Elite's part too. They know that these guys are the future, and are doing all they can to build them up. I know its early doors but its so refreshing to see this kind of commitment this early in the company's run.
Even if AEW crashes and burns, I know that there will be so much talent over the next decade that will be able to point to AEW and say 'those guys are the reason I am where I am today'.

Like, I do understand WWE's strategy of waiting for a while before getting a talent in their prime. Both makes the training at the PC easier because they've been able to adapt but also because you can use that notoriety to get a bit of buzz and interest towards NXT. For every Pete Dunne and Tyler Bate, there are dozens of Keith Lees, Johnny Garganos and Kassius Ohnos who were on the scene for years and were cornerstones of entire promotions.
But there's something almost refreshing about seeing someone's career grow and evolve over time from the offset. Many of these guys you listed are under 25 which is sort of crazy to think about in that sense with how much they've connected already. It also makes your promotion seem more "in". Like, you're not seeing guys who've travelled the road and being rewarded with a nice contract (nowhere near a bad thing at all), you're seeing people who have made it because of potential which WWE's improved upon to an extent with Humberto but should really be making to take a risk on.
Also, MJF is 23. Twenty Three. That's f***ing crazy.

Oh, how I remember the days when I was younger than the wrestlers on tv...

They are really doing a great job with getting the young talent over to the point where if they keep going the way they are going I could buy something MJF/Allin as a legit PPV main event in 12-18months

There’s a saying in acting “there are no small parts” and someone once surprised me by saying “of course there are, guy playing the tree is a small part” but AEW is doing a tremendous job in making everyone look like a star or at least have some sort of appeal at their level. And yeah that goes for the Nakazawas and librarians too.

It's everything that TNA failed to do when they had the opportunity to do so. We don't have to have the promising new guys stuck facing each other endlessly while the Known Guys do everything important - everyone mixes it up with everyone and the new guys look on par with the veterans. They are doing it early enough that the new guys can even take losses - Darby Allin losing to Jericho at the end of a three year build would have killed him. Losing to the champion three weeks into being on TV made him.

They're using the older veterans in a way to get younger stars over even when they lose.
It's very much got an Attitude Era feel without the crash TV aspects. During the Attitude Era, everyone felt like they had a purpose or were made to feel like stars.
