SmackDown and 205 Live are in Philadelphia tonight, with the Survivor Series just nine days away.
Last week, the New Day went to Manchester and got one step closer to Charlotte Flair by once again winning the SmackDown Tag Team Championship, defeating The Revival. Although with Xavier Woods' injury, they're a known quantity now with Big E and Kofi Kingston defending the titles. They'll do so tonight, as Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson have been granted an immediate rematch. The winners will go into a three way at Survivor Series with the Viking Raiders and Bobby Fish and Kyle O'Reilly of the Undisputed ERA - who books their spot in that match, and will the New Day's latest reign be short lived?
Daniel Bryan has a lot on his plate - Sami Zayn wants him to join up with him and Shinsuke Nakamura, while Universal Champion The Fiend now wants a piece of him. The Miz will try and mediate all this on Miz TV, as his old rival Bryan is the special guest. Will all of these issues come to a head at once?
There's one spot remaining on the women's SmackDown Survivor Series team, and Nikki Cross wants it. Problem is, the captain is Sasha Banks, and she's not the biggest Nikki Cross fan on earth - in fact, both her and SmackDown Women's Champion Bayley have defeated Cross in successive weeks, albeit both via outside interference. For Cross to get onto the team, she has to defeat Bayley in a non title match tonight. You'd think that would be tough, but Bayley has personally angered seven different people this week, so expect to see Becky Lynch, Shayna Baszler and her Horsewomen, and most of Team Rhea Ripley from WarGames getting involved here.
Roman Reigns may be the captain of the men's SmackDown Survivor Series team, but King Corbin feels he has the pull after defeating The Big Dog last week (don't mention the involvement of Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode). Corbin isn't happy with the inclusion of Mustafa Ali and Shorty G on the team, and they've offered to put their spots on the line against Roode and Ziggler. Will it remain status quo, or will Corbin gain even more influence on the team?
All this and much more from 8/7c live on FOX - then it's 205 Live from 10/9c on the WWE Network, back from the sojourn at Full Sail; who's next for NXT Cruiserweight Champion Lio Rush following his win over Angel Garza?
