AEW Dynamite is LIVE from Naptown - the Indiana Farmers Coliseum in Indianapolis is home to a loaded card - and remember to read the rules on discussion of this show and NXT: officialfan.proboards.com/thread/592137/rules-discussion-weekly-aew-shows
After surviving the Lights Out match with Kenny Omega, and then quickly dispatching Michael Nakazawa, Jon Moxley laid out the gauntlet for anyone to face him... and Darby Allin answered the call. A man every bit as reckless as Moxley, Allin is looking to see how he measures up against the Death Rider. Remember that he lasted 20 minutes with Cody, and was winning against Chris Jericho until Jake Hager stepped in, so Moxley isn't in for an easy night in any way. Which maniac ends the night on top?
With Matt Jackson out of commission thanks to Proud N Powerful, Nick Jackson finds himself in a position he's not been in since the 2015 Best of the Super Juniors... in singles competition. His opponent this week is also mainly a tag team wrestler in AEW, but is also known worldwide for singles work, as Nick takes on Rey Fenix. This should be spectacular... provided Nick still knows how to compete without his brother!
A couple of weeks ago, New York area wrestler Matt Travis was killed in a road incident. Four people who knew him well were Isaiah Kassidy and Marq Quen of Private Party and Santana and Ortiz of Proud N Powerful, and tonight they face each other in Travis' honour. But don't take this as strictly friendly competition, as Private Party intervened when PnP were attacking the Young Bucks and Brandon Cutler. PnP want to prove themselves as the best tag team in the world, and this match looks to take them one step closer, but will Private Party halt the momentum?
Little information was given on this, but AEW will be hosting the Dynamite Dozen Battle Royal this week, with twelve competitors entering the match. It'll be whittled down to two, and the last two standing will face each other next week in Chicago for the COVETED Dynamite Dozen Diamond Ring. What will that entail? Goodness knows...
Also, LE CHAMPION Chris Jericho says he has a major announcement to make this week... will this just be to mock Cody, or is it genuine? Jericho will still be smarting from being pinned in AEW for the first time by Scorpio Sky last week, how will he react to that?
All this, plus whichever female stars show up (not necessarily Britt Baker), and if Wardlow gets to speak in his new role as MJF's heavy, tonight from 8/7c on TNT in the US, TSN in Canada and FITE TV worldwide!
