It's the most apathetic time of the year.

It's the most apathetic time of the year. Not if Stairs, Stairs and Stairs happens.

If either network wants the PPVs to be single-brand only, they'll likely have to pay a heck of a lot more than what they are signed to pay already. The more pressing question is whether TLC will involve NXT as well, to cement further the idea that NXT is beyond that label as "developmental talent".

- Kevin Owens & & vs. Seth Rollins & AOP Either the Street Profits or the Viking Raider Experience could likely be Owens' partners.

There is no real need for NXT to be involved with anything SD or Raw related NXT showcase matches should be relegated to the big shows as they have Takeover for everything else. It would mess up HHH system to have to rush storylines to have his people be there for those PPVs and his own

The more pressing question is whether TLC will involve NXT as well, to cement further the idea that NXT is beyond that label as "developmental talent". There is no real need for NXT to be involved with anything SD or Raw related. I wouldn't necessarily include NXT in any cross-over matches, but I think some decision has to be made about the extent HHH and Vince want to handle NXT as a brand on par with Raw and Smackdown. Including NXT in the PPV offerings going forward would make sense if the three are to be viewed as equally important. Again, decisions like that will have to be made fairly soon if Vince (and, as much as NXT is Trips's baby, Vince is the one signing the checks still and his word is final) truly wants NXT to compete with AEW as the vanguard of the WWE brand. That may mean no more Takeovers if NXT is to be included on the regular PPVs; that may mean far more inter-brand movement as creative's moods change. That may mean that NXT is bottlenecked and has to share developmental talent with Raw and Smackdown. We don't know at this stage how deeply committed WWE is to striking against AEW in the ratings. It's been working somewhat the last few weeks, but NXT is up against a very fresh, very differently-presented brand who's cutting into WWE's talent pool and its ratings (and fueling speculation about whether one of NXT's biggest names is readying himself to jump ship.)

They aired an ad for a match in the local markets for TLC tonight. The match will probably be good wrestling wise, but it could potentially destroy the momentum of several stars. {Spoiler}{TLC SPOILER: CLICK TO SHOW} Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch vs The Kabuki Warriors for the Women's Tag Team Championships in a TLC match.
This is such a horrible, stupid godawful idea. The moment this ad was posted online, it got an overwhelmingly negative reaction, even from Becky fans.

Taking a stab at what I think Raw's half of the card may be:
Kabuki Warriors vs. Becky & Charlotte Seth & AOP vs. KO & Viking Raiders Lashley vs. Rusev US Title ladder match- Rey/Ricochet/AJ/Humberto/Orton/Drew maybe Black vs. Murphy too As for Smackdown, I really haven't a clue, Bray vs. Bryan again but besides that...no idea...Roman vs. Corbin I guess

So next week we have the go home shows and still nothing announced and really not even a huge amount all that built up.
I don't know why WWE felt like Hell in a Cell was a PPV worth repeating but here we are I guess. Can't wait for a TLC match to end in a DQ.

That... logic does not make even the slightest bit of sense. Like, duh, of COURSE most Network subscriptions happen on the day of PPVs. You'd have to be an idiot to expect otherwise. They're the main thing the Network does that really warrants live viewing and the smartest way to use the Network is to try to time your purchases to get multiple big shows for your $10.
Deliberately making the shows a bunch of poorly laid out crap that has nothing announced in advance is probably going to be a turnoff more than anything. But I guess it's not like they had a PPV earlier this year that had horrifically bad ticket sales or anything, with this potentially creating a precedent for more of that. They definitely didn't stomp those grounds.

WWE is putting on a pay-per-view lootbox. You could end up with an Ultra Rare Kabuki Warriors vs. Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch TLC match. It might also have 4 Common King Corbin vs. Roman Reigns.
