It's the old thing of not having the dude win much and then wondering why he's not over.
Like it's all well and good having good matches and showing yourself off well but if you're not winning, why should anyone care?

This was literally said by Bryan Alvarez during Wrestling Observer Live with Mike Sempervive.
Here is the video posted by the F4WOnline youtube page SHOWING Bryan say this.

I blame the lack of characters.
You have Ali and Ricochet doing the whole “Look how much crazy floppy shit I can do!” gimmick.
Humberto needs something to set himself apart. Same with Alexander for that matter.
There’s no difference in any of these guys and their personalities or looks.
The guy was called “Ultimo Ninja”... just give him a Ninja gimmick. At least it’s something different.

They should have had Humberto turn on the SP and join The OC at some point.

So I guess the "groomed to be the next big hispanic star" thing Meltz and Co. say about every Mexican WWE sign wasn't true after all.
What's the fastest that Vince has ever got bored of someone after putting them on TV for a few weeks?

AJ is the killer for these young dudes man. By that I mean no I'm not saying it's his fault. I'm saying that if they lose an AJ feud, no if they're made out to be a joke, that's the Vince stamp for "hey we're not pushing him anymore."
Shit, that's like that Dean Ambrose spot. If a guy was made out to be a joke by Ambrose then that's usually a sign that hey, you're gonna be depushed for a lil bit.

I'm guessing next time we'll see Humberto will be on WWE Main event (the show) or on either Raw or Smackdown complete with the Joe McHugh memorial "Already in the Ring" entrance

Vince: Kevin, I've just seen the most heroic dog on television. He pulled a toddler from the path of a speeding car, then pushed a criminal in front of it. Find this dog. I want to make him my executive vice president.
Kevin: Uh, yes sir. In the meantime, here's Humberto Carrillo (vince stares blankly at Humberto)... the Luchador?
Vince: What? Oh, yes, that fellow. Mmmm, put him somewhere out of the way, and find that dog!

I think that pretty much sums up his booking so far.

It's like Vince doesn't understand how to get people over anymore. If the 'push someone by having them lose to AJ repeatedly' isn't getting people over, maybe it's not the fault of the people you keep having spin their wheels through the same bullshit over and over.

I don't think this guy is really any good, but they could've at least tried giving him Aiden as a manager.

Carrillo is a good wrestler. Really good. But so is nearly everyone else. He doesn’t stand out in the slightest in any other way, and his music makes CEDRIC ALEXANDER’S sound like a banger of a theme. Probably for the best, IMO.

Wow, you give a guy with no real personality a toothless push where he still loses the matches that actually matter and then pull the rug out from them when they, predictably, don’t get over.
Welcome to the story of WWE for about two decades now

Welcome to the story of WWE for about two decades now You could honestly build a whole roster of people this has happened to, it’s kind of ridiculous.

Between guys like Cedric, Aleister, Buddy, Cedric, Apollo, and now Humberto, what the hell is the point of investing in these new guys if WWE's only gonna do the same thing every time? Not develop them, and leave them in limbo
Again, they wonder why people are asking for their releases?

Vince gets bored of talent then stops them trying to leave, its like he wants to sabotage talented wrestlers careers for the fun of it.

Wwe -hired 1000 wrestlers, can't make a star...
...And don't get me started on Hispanic stars, they think they made Rey and Eddie Guerrero.
