One of my other main passions besides wrestling is cars, like, it's one of my main interests and, for a guy who's never sat a driving test and who never plans to own a car, I've got a real passion for them. So, fellow petrol-heads/gear-heads of FAN, what, in your opinion, is the best looking car of all time? For me, it has to be the first proper supercar, the 1966 Lamborghini Miura, the WrestleMania of supercars, it established Lamborghini as one of the most stylish car companies of all time. (Just ignore that it was a nightmare to drive, apparently.) For me, I don't think there'll ever be a better looking car than the Miura.

I can't paste any images now, but my first thought was the Jaguar E-Type.

The original classic Mini.
I weep when I see the BMW monstrosity currently using the Mini name.

I've always thought the current 5-door looks more like Austin Maxi than a Mini: Mini 5-doorAustin maxiThe 3-door is better as long as you don't park it next to a proper car and realize how big and wide it is. It looks larger than a 90's Corolla. Disclaimer: I own both a classic and a new one.

Doesn't look as horrific as I thought a car from British Leyland would look.

The Maxi looks uglier from the rear because British Leyland insisted on using the same doors as one of their larger cars so the middle is long and the rear overhang is very short. Otherwise it's typical early 60's car. Just one that was released in the late 60's.

On the subject of BL making cars looking uglier than they were supposed to, I heard that the Austin Allegro was meant to be a sleak, stylish coupe before BL got their hands on it, too.

On the subject of BL making cars looking uglier than they were supposed to, I heard that the Austin Allegro was meant to be a sleak, stylish coupe before BL got their hands on it, too. Allegedly they had to redesign the hood because the larger engine's wouldn't have fit. Also the car was not a hatchback because BL wanted that to be a distinguishing feature of the Maxi. This was in 1973 and soon every small car would have been a hatchback. Enough talk. Here's a BL product that looks decent, the Rover SD-1:
