For a third year it's time for you all to decide who is WWE's Person of the Year. And much like in previous years, we're using Time Magazine's criteria. For those of you who don't know, Time doesn't chose someone based on accomplishments. Rather, the magazine gives the designation to the person who is talked about the most or had the biggest story of the year. As Time explains, “the person or persons who most affected the news and our lives, for good or ill, and embodied what was important about the year.”
In other words, this isn't a popularity contest. Thus, Jinder Mahal winning this poll in 2017 (and Hitler winning Time's poll in 1938). I admittedly haven't watched much wrestling this year and mostly know what's happening from here. So please specify if you're voting for someone other than those listed.
And with that, please vote and choose WWE's Person of the Year 2019!!!

I'd argue Ambrose. His leaving was pretty much the first big story of what's been a crazy year, his shoot summed up both a lot of what's been happening in the company and a lot of what happened after it, his leaving just to jump straight to AEW probably played a part in how obsessively WWE's been hoarding talent and throwing big money around to try to get people to sign new deals, and his arrival in AEW has probably been a big factor in why that's been as successful thus far as it has. Hell, it may be part of why NXT ended up making its way onto TV, since it did a lot to really put over right away that AEW is legit.

I've got to give it to Seth Rollins. Good or bad, there hasn't been a moment wherein his name hasn't been at the top of WWE fans' minds.
- Wins the Royal Rumble in January - It's revealed that he and Becky Lynch are dating - Beats Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania to win the Universal Championship - Gets into a Twitter feud with Will Ospreay - Gets engaged to Becky Lynch - Is 1/4 of a feud so ghastly (Rollins/Lynch vs. Corbin/Evans) that it manages to turn fans off of Becky Lynch during her peak - Was basically WWE's lone defender following Jon Moxley's appearance on Chris Jericho's podcast - Beats Brock Lesnar clean as a sheet at SummerSlam to retain the Universal Championship - Beats The Fiend in a Hell in a Cell match, one of the most talked-about matches of the year for all the wrong reasons - Is front and center of the Saudi Arabia airplane controversy, becoming an ersatz "locker room leader" in the process - His Tweets continue to ignite controversy in the aftermath of Saudi Arabia - Fans beg for him to turn heel and embrace his off-screen persona on screen - Turns heel on Raw, cementing his role as Raw's top week-to-week bad guy

I'd vote Kofi because he's had like 3 major headlines in the calendar year: The Kofi Push to Mania, Winning there and The End vs Brock. It's an emotional roller coaster nobody saw coming.
About 50% of Ambrose is completely unrelated to WWE. If it was Pro Wrestling Person of the Year, that's a different story. But for WWE, he's a contender but so much of his importance is outside the WWE.

I’ll go Becky since she’s been the most heavily pushed all year. Won the Rumble, feud with Ronda & Charlotte, Wrestlemania main event and held the Raw Women’s Title since.
And of course personally engaged to arguably WWE’s man of the year Seth Rollins.
Quick shoutout though to Roman Reigns who has had mostly a good year since coming back. There are still a few people who boo and I’m still not a massive fan of the character but it’s a good thing to see him out there and still performing to a high level.

It's definitely Seth. There was a period where every day was a new "F*** Seth Rollins!!!" thread (usually justified). For better or worse, dude has had us talking all year.

About 50% of Ambrose is completely unrelated to WWE. If it was Pro Wrestling Person of the Year, that's a different story. But for WWE, he's a contender but so much of his importance is outside the WWE. He was outside WWE when he gave his shoot interview, but it was still all about WWE. I look at the part of the criteria that says "embodied what was important about the year". To me, the most important thing this year has been WWE's terrible creative process. Declining attendance and ratings, poorly received PPVs, talent wanting to leave, lack of direction for most of the roster. None of these are entirely brand new things, but this was the year we got a crystal clear answer as to why they are happening, and that answer came from Ambrose.

Vince, for all the wrong reasons. Hard to argue he's most talked about.

Strong cases can be made for Becky, Bray, Kofi, and Seth. I really can't argue against anybody picking any of those four.

Becky. Star of the first women's WM main event and surrounding months. First time a woman has been the man.
That'll still mean something long after we've forgot anything Seth's done this year.

Either Becky for her gigantic rise and being the first Woman to be able to be considered face of the company.
Or Ambrose for the impact he caused from leaving WWE and showing why that was a great thing.

I picked Ali becauae he sent a young fan some of his own ring gear just so the kid could dress as him for halloween. Awesome guy.

Becky's lead is attributed to her accomplishments this year, whereas Reigns' lead in the 2018 poll came from his bout with leukemia. Jinder won in 2017 because of his controversial title reign.

Kofi, for having a feelgood title run and representing the brand well. You shouldn't reward Rollins for being a dick
