"About three weeks ago I got a call from Mark Carano. He's the head of talent relations at WWE. Just out of default, when you see that number come up, in the past it's always been not for a good cause. A lot of times it's because you did something." "Carano's like, 'Hey pal, you're going in the Hall of Fame again.' That's a lot. Just one, just being inducted in the Hall of Fame in general. Twice is huge. Back to back years is ridiculous," "I have no desire whatsoever to stand up on that stage by myself and be inducted as a single's wrestler. To be a part of something bigger and greater than yourself is just an amazing feeling to me, and I don't need that. I don't need 'me, me, me', what about me? I got plenty of me," admitted Waltman. "I'm just happy to be a part of something greater than me." "Scott started in Florida. Hulk started there. I started there. Kev didn't, he started in Atlanta. So for us, it's really special. My family lives there, too. That's where my mom, my sister, my nephews, other miscellaneous relatives live." "Last year, I was incredibly nervous and I don't like talking in public anyways, so there were people that I forgot to thank that I wanted to. Phyllis Lee. She helped me get into wrestling. My former partner, Kane, who's the mayor of Knox County, Tennessee now. I really wanted to thank him and I felt so bad afterward. It meant a lot to me when I teamed with him. Couldn't ask for a better guy to be partners with." www.wrestlinginc.com/news/2019/12/sean-waltman-on-why-he-doesnt-want-a-solo-wwe-hall-of-fame-663411/

"I have no desire whatsoever to stand up on that stage with Justin Credible and be inducted as a member of X-Factor."
I like to believe that's what he meant to say. The 123 Kid actually was something he should be proud of being inducted for.

You know, with all of the Jake/Hall talk about turning their lives around, kinda feels like Waltman and the way he turned his life around doesn't get mentioned enough. Granted, his demons weren't as prominent or as life threatening as the others, but I think people forget just how messed up he was for a while.

While true, I would also think what happened with Chyna is also a stark reminder of what he does't want to end up like Waltman was a dude getting f***ed up at any point and it is crazy to hear just even back then with HBK and them, he was partying as hard or more just like them. The Taker story on Broken Skull is still funny with Pac sleeping on his shoulder after all night of getting f***ed up. He partied with everyone

Waltman seems like a very humble man. I'm happy for him, he seems to be pretty peaceful.

A couple days ago when the news of the NWO being inducted to the Hall of Fame broke I asked my buddy, so does this mean Waltman will be the only guy inducted three times? We both agreed it's only logical he go in as a singles wrestler as well. Come to find out Waltman doesn't even want that. I still think he deserves it. He was a trailblazer for guys his size as they wouldn't even get a second look at the time he broke in.

Flair’s already in twice for solo and for The Four Horsemen, he’ll probably go in for Evolution. Triple H is in once for DX, he’ll definitely go in solo and then Evolution as well. Shawn Michaels is a possibility too if they ever induct The Rockers, but that all falls on Marty Jannetty.

That would be Hansen’s Energy Drink. Thanks. I wonder how it stacks to today's energy drinks. From what I remember it wasn’t too bad, like a citrusy Red Bull. But I haven’t had one since 99/00. Wasn’t that even in his TitanTron at one point?

Bret Hart too, should they ever induct the 1997 Hart Foundation stable, which is unlikely because of Owen.

The 123 Kid actually was something he should be proud of being inducted for. While I can understand and appreciate his hesitation of a solo induction, Waltman absolutely deserves to be in pretty much every wrestling HOF ever. While the internet didn't exist at the time, pre-WWF Waltman was basically the first "IWC indy darling". Dude paved the way for a lot of guys that never would have gotten a shot due to their size and not talent.

Aha, we've finally found someone who likes Kane. At last. Did anyone ever ask him if he regrets the heel turn on Kane? Because his heel run after that sucked the life out of his character and overness and he never recovered.

I respect his wishes for why, but as a fan of his work as the 123 Kid, especially his underdog story-arc, I can't help but feel bummed out. He became a reason to watch Raw in its beginning. That being said, one of his last feuds as the 123 Kid, saw him wearing a diaper. Again, I understand his reasoning.
