I gave up on WWE in 2002-03. I now only know what’s going on if I read this forum or see clips on YouTube. I don’t miss watching it regularly and ultimately I think I’ve either outgrown it or it no longer is marketed to fans like me. Either way, moving away from being a regular viewer is definitely the way to go if you feel burnt out, or if you feel your intelligence is being insulted. Watching something that is long and not entertaining seems like a chore, not a hobby. Find something else and either stay away or come back when you feel the itch again. I watched Dynamite for the first couple of weeks, and the juices started to flow again, but I lost interest shortly after. At some point you may just outgrow it, for whatever reason.

What the heck, I’ll share my story too.
I’m 36 and have been watching wrestling since I was nine. Once I figured out when it was on TV, I made it a point to watch every show I could. I would get so irate when I would turn on TBS at 6:05 on Saturday night and a Braves game was on. That’s when wrestling was supposed to air, dammit!
I first noticed my fandom eroding when Raw went to three hours. I enjoyed Raw 1000 but the second week, I was burned out by hour two. I didn’t watch another episode until Jerry Lawler had his heart attack, and that was only because I happened to see the thread here. Naturally I wanted to know what was going on, so I flipped over to USA.
Since then, my love of wrestling has fallen even more, and it’s not just WWE. I cut the cable cord in January 2015, so this board is primarily how I keep up with what’s going on. I thought I would keep the WWE Network forever, but I’ve gone through phases where I would cancel my subscription and restart it. Even the retro stuff that was such a joy to watch isn’t fun for me now. This is the first year since its launch that I haven’t watched it at all.
It’s weird because I can’t pinpoint a specific reason. It’s not anything that WWE is doing in particular, it’s more that for whatever reason, wrestling as a whole just isn’t doing it for me anymore. I remember a post here from someone that pretty much matches how I feel right now. This person said that he still keeps up with what’s going on, but he has no desire to actually watch. And that’s how I feel: I love talking about it with you guys, but I just can’t bring myself to watch a whole show.
My dad is probably looking down on me right now and thinking “Yes! He’s finally out of it!”
Whew, that was a lot to get out. Thanks for letting me vent.

I stopped watching in 2013 and have not regretted it. The product is terrible now, and has been 90% mediocre since 2002.

Dude don't watch it then. I am sorry but people who watch the product and complain annoy me. Its like the dude on wrestleview Mike Tedsco all his reviews of raw is him complaining about the product . Do not watch it. with the amount of wrestling at our finger tips surely there is a product you like

I love AEW and NXT, so at least there's that.
