We can have a strap match, but not a dog collar one with epic dog food saga? I'm disappointed, ma'an...

I hope Reigns and Corbin use trash cans during the match. uhh…..why? Houston Astros scandal in MLB, banging trash cans to tell the batter the pitch (same stadium the Rumble is in).

With Seth Rollins announcing himself for the Rumble, here's a Bonus Royal Rumble Fact: This year will be the 1st time in Rumble History that the 3 most recent winners (Orton, Nakamura, & Rollins) are all in the same match. There has been times where the last 2 winners were in the match, but never 3.

Surprisingly, this is only the second Rumble for AJ, Owens and Joe.

Surprisingly, this is only the second Rumble for AJ, Owens and Joe. AJ especially that seems weird but then he had that streak of 2 Rumbles in a row where he was either competing or defending the WWE championship which must be some kind of record.

He got that streak to four, believe it or not. Remember, the Rumble in which he debuted (2016) was for the title itself. And then he was in the championship match for the next three years (2017 vs Cena, 2018 vs Owens/Zayn and 2019 vs Bryan).

I said three originally but thought that was wrong but forgot completely about Cena.

Right, call me crazy.
I'm wondering if the reason we have a hardcore Reigns v Corbin match before the Rumble is to give an on screen excuse for one of them (ie King Corbin) not being in the Rumble, through some big match ending injury or what not. Thus opening a spot in the Rumble for a "surprise", maybe one we can't see, or we think we know him.
Similar big spots through tables can also take out Roode and Ziggler during this match.
Thinking Chavo getting "Injured" during the title match at Rumble 2009.

If Reigns, Mysterio, and Sheamus are in this match that’ll be 6 previous winners in the match (not in a row though) would that be the record for most previous winners? Seven of we include Braun’s Greatest Royal Rumble victory.

I've noticed that Kofi Kingston is not yet confirmed to be in the rumble (Unless I have somehow missed it) But Dolph Ziggler is. I imagine he will be to do the annual crazy elimination save. But if the off chance he isnt. Dolph will become the guy with the current most consecutive Rumbles at 12. A record Kofi and Dolph currently share with 11 Rumbles in a row..2008 was the last Rumble neither of these 2 were in (The one I was live at ) If they are in this one then are in 2021's then they will equal Kanes record of 13.

Yeah, it’ll be funny that, for all the talk about how Kingston and the returning Morrison would try to out-duel each other with Rumble saves, they may end up out of the Rumble altogether in a tag title match.

At this point, it feels like there will be a tag title match (Miz/Mo v New Day) or no NXT stars in the rumble. We're running out of room!

I kind of expected by the time the show actually rolled around to be in a Rumble mood but I'm just... not.
I dunno. Maybe by the time the day of but I'm still not feeling any of the annual hype at this point in time.

My Rumble hype is sort of an internal combustion engine, but yeah, the build for the Rumble hasn't been brill. I suppose thats so anyone eliminating Brock (and Reigns) is a surprise, but more likely its so folk dont boo ahead of schedule.
Wheres for the women's, only 4 people announced so far. Its at the point where anyone winning other than a surprise Ronda Rousey return would actually surprise me.

I hope there's some surprises.
Brian Cage - since he's unsigned, could make an appearance.
Goldberg - Enters and eliminates Riddle lol
The lineup shows how stacked the actual roster is at the minute while it's healthy. 25 announced with Andrade, Kane, Miz, Morrison, and/or Show to add if they're not doing a tag team title match presumably.
That would be seven former winners (Braun, Brock, Mysterio, Nakamura, Orton, Rollins, Roman), an additional six former recognized world champions (Goldberg, Kane, Kofi, Miz, Show, Styles), and nine more with top titles in NXT or TNA (Andrade, Big E, Black, Cage, Joe, Lashley, McIntyre, Morrison, Owens)
