It’s not a masterpiece or anything but it’s a really interesting piece of weird Canadian animation. Not for kids at all, there was more seedy stuff in it than I remembered.
Don Francks as Mok is fantastic and basically steals the movie, they clearly had fun animating that dude. The main song by Debbie Harry is great, but Lou Reed and Earth Wind & Fire have two absolute bangers. I LOLed when Omar and company have all of their “edginess” drained from them and their music becomes goofy flower-pop.

Only ever seen the finale of it in truth, has some good music to it. Mok does have a great design and his song about how great he sees himself is a nice touch.

i finally managed to buy a pal area version of the movie, which has both of the dubs as far as I know.
The film was never released in here for obvious reasons, but a friend showed it to me few years back.
Now i'm gonna go look for Felidae.

The sad thing is, the soundtrack is not intact and outside of the found parts finding their way in public, there hasn't been an official release ever.
Funny story...Cheap Trick and Debbie Harry actually performed at the same show a couple of years back.

Far-fetched theory...the Schlepper Brothers are actually Alvin, Simon, and Theodore mutated. Their sister? All three Chipettes fused together.
