Well, this is a gem. streamable.com/hqscgMach was embracing the power of positivity long before New Day. And lol @ "He's the announcer, dude."

It's common knowledge Vince and Randy were close, but I think it really hammers home how close they were when you see something like this and you see Vince's corporate inner circle at the time and Randy's right there with all of them. It's kind of wild, because even by most accounts of guys like Hogan, Shawn, Austin, Rock, Cena who had close relationships with Vince, they didn't have this close of relationships with him. It really speaks to how unique the friendship between Randy and Vince was.
I can't help but wonder if they had stayed on good terms if Randy wouldn't have wounded up with a high end position in the back. It always felt like Vince was grooming him for something with his uncharacteristic want to get Randy out of the ring before he was too banged up and too old and start transitioning him into non-wrestler roles.

It really does further validate the theory that Randy's departure from WWE (driven by his desire to still do in ring stuff) genuinely hurt Vince and that his subsequent bitterness towards Savage probably wasn't about some alleged underage liaison with Stephanie or even losing Slim Jim; just a man wounded from having a generous role and/or friendship of his rejected.

If he hasn't done that to Vince, Vince would had done it to him down the road cause business is business.

Most Denny’s were non smoking in the 90s that’s why Vince must’ve liked them

There's even that other rumored innuendo that during 98-99, Vince tried to negotiate with Savage for a deal, but Savage said something that really hurt Vince, but Vince will never reveal what that was.

Even when Savage used his “normal” voice, he still sounded like he ordered the sandpaper pancakes.

Even when Savage used his “normal” voice, he still sounded like he ordered the sandpaper pancakes. There's a story Warrior related on his Macho Man tribute video. Whenever the two wanted to be incognito at a restaurant, Warrior would always order, as Savage's voice, even low-key, attracted attention. I don't see how early-90s Warrior and Savage wouldn't attract attention anywhere they went but that's beside the point.
