There's a commercial that airs for a mail order teddy bear based on a certain public figure. It's so absurd I'm not sure if it's meant to be satire or not. I know which one of which you speak. It only appears to air on a network that suggests that it is purely done in earnest. Yes, even some viewers of that network find the thing ridiculous (at least my dad does).

the postmates commercial with the guy watching martha stewart, cutting of his finger then jumping out the window to his death? is pretty insane I’ve seen it a couple of times since and i still can’t believe that was put on tv
