17:55 onwards
Honestly, if this is the sum of why they're upset with New Japan, it really seems like much ado about nothing.

Given the recent AXS news with NJPW I wouldn't be shocked if AEW ends up doing business with them yet. It seems like a trivial matter to me. I know there's some AAA/CMLL conflict with that deal but maybe those two Mexican feds need to put aside differences for the greater good as well?

It really seems all the parties besides are willing.
Just that there is some occult people in position of power that simply do not want it at any means, who knows why.

Nakazawa made some excellent points in this discussion.

I know there's some AAA/CMLL conflict with that deal but maybe those two Mexican feds need to put aside differences for the greater good as well? Agreed. This all just seems like creative stuff. These three decided to leave; you can't really set the predicates for your exit after you hand in your notice. Additional thoughts: - I loved "Kenny's Quest," but it was as goofy as it was heartwarming, and I'm glad New Japan didn't air it - The Bucks worked Japan dates very sparingly, in the grand scheme of things, so being removed from one of the biggest Korakuen shows of the year probably wasn't intended as purely an insult/"betrayal." New Year's Dash often starts storylines that can last for months or the entire year, and it makes sense to use people who are going to be around. - Nobody has been shoehorned into a "Kenny Omega" role in New Japan since he left. Jay White has become an insanely good heel in his own right, and Will Ospreay just had a better year-round run than Omega ever had. Not sure where that comment came from. Nakazawa made some excellent points in this discussion. Tbh I felt bad about that. I love the Bucks to death, but they do that a lot with this show. These guests all have stories of their own, but the Bucks consistently derail the conversation and talk about their own experiences.

Kenny sounds pretty bitter that NJPW decided to put their own interests first. Dude had made it clear he was going to their international rival or was starting his own competition. I’m not sure what he expected.
