16. Rogue One: a Star Wars Story. I want to sit f***ing Rian Johnson and JJ f***head Abrams down and force those two f***ing idiots to watch this Clockwork Orange style for hours on repeat. Then after a week I’ll tell them “that’s why everything YOU did was a brutal failure”. This movie is so good. If I’d have done one thing differently I’d have had Baze Malbus whip out a lightsaber during his final stand. That would have made my favourite battle in Star Wars history...my favourite scene in movie history.

Very good movie in just about every possible way. Acting, directing, writing, etc. However, it never fully grabbed me to make me consider it great. [***1/2]

If there was ever a bloated film, this is it. Zack Snyder continues to struggle with pacing in his movies and they all kind of look the same. There are a few strong points, but this is mostly a muddled mess that tried to do too much. [**]

I started watching Battlequeen 2020 tonight but i turned it off after ten minutes. I hate blue movies. Instead: 17. Stripperland. Truth be told I f***ing hated Zombieland. I hate anything with Jesse whateverthef***hisnameis. This is a spoof of a joke. But it’s more enjoyable that the joke because it knows it’s stupid c-grade silliness. Even though Zombieland knew it was a joke too. I don’t know what to take of it. I don’t know why I loved this and hated Zombieland. I guess Jesse whatshisname is really just toxic garbage.

12. Max Headroom: 20 Minutes into the Future (1985) 13. Recess: School's Out (2001) 14. Batman Ninja (2018)I'll be honest, I didn't know what to make of this. It was so overloaded with anime cliches that I wasn't sure if it was supposed to be parody or not. I could see people getting into it, but I just wasn't feeling it.

There was potential for something strong here. Think along the lines of Blake Lively’s The Shallows. Clemons does a great job but the extra characters and special effects ruin the second half of the story. It becomes a huge mess. [**½]

16. The One (2001) - It's ridiculous and over-the-top, but not in a bad way by any means. I enjoyed the fight scenes, even with the editing between good Jet Li and evil Jet Li. I also will note that I liked Jet Li hamming it up as Yulaw. Some of the effects got me laughing, but man, it's still an entertaining flick.

A good horror movie that would’ve probably failed without Octavia Spencer. She gives a great performance that helps it get past some glaring issues. [***]

A hidden gem of 2019. The acting is great, the direction sets up a tense atmosphere, and the mystery unfolds fantastically. Go out of your way to see this if you can. [****]

18. Postal. This movie is f***ing horrible but it needs to happen. We need a movie like this in 2020 just to get everyone’s panties in a bunch. We need movies like this since we don’t have George Carlin to put everyone in their place anymore.

13. Recess: School's Out (2001) 14. Batman Ninja (2018) 15. Kim Possible Movie: So the Drama (2005)So I never really followed Kim Possible, but I got home from work today really wanting to watch something I've never seen before, and after digging through the Disney+ catalog, I chose this over one of the many Lilo and Stitch sequels that they offer. And once again I just couldn't get into this. Maybe this is how the show normally does it, but to me the movie just spent too much time on all the high school drama between Kim and Ron and not enough time on their kick-butt adventuring. And Drakken's plan was so poorly built up that when all the big reveals were made they lacked impact. Maybe this movie works better for girls who'd prefer the relationship drama over the action-adventure stuff, but I wasn't a fan. What I did find hilarious though was at one point Kim contacts Ron via beeper. Man that seems outdated even for 2005.

#38 - To All The Boys I've Loved Before
*Netflix
It struggles to shake off the clichés of its genre, but the movie makes up for it with the cast and characters. It’s a fun movie, with a heartwarming story that does just enough to make it stand out in the crowded field. [****]

19. I Cannibali. f***ing garbage. It could have been so much better. A movie where dead bodies litter the street and people walk passed them like they’re not even there? Give that to George Romero and you’d have maybe gotten a cool conclusion to the “of the Dead” movies. Instead this crap. Very disappointed.
