Even if it is, it's apparently based on something that has NOTHING to do with her booking and can't be resolved by (someone's idea of) better booking, which is her being homesick and away from her partner all the time (who I only learned recently is apparently New Japan wrestler EVIL). Being fair here part of the rumor has been that she isn't happy with how she's being booked, but I do really doubt it's her top priority by any means. Though really I'm not sure that there's really much of anything wrong with her booking, it's been a fine slow build and she's still played as a huge deal. I really don't buy that report completely. Now that's not to say it's completely false as I do think there are elements to it that are true. Io missing her fiancee, that I believe. Io being a little homesick, that I also believe, but it's not something that relates to just her as I'm sure all the talents that come from halfway across the planet(i.e. Rhea, Dakota, Shane Thorne, Bronson Reed, etc.) have that same issue. And WWE wanting to call her up to the main roster, that I also believe, I mean look at the state of both Raw and Smackdown's Women division. Of course they would want to call her up. But Io being unhappy in NXT and wanting to go back to STARDOM, where she had already accomplished everything already, that I have trouble believing.

I have said it before that ALOT of people including Meltzer took what Io said in her own personal blog and spun it as such to make it like she is completely unhappy in NXT.
When she has said her unhappyness was with living in Orlando as there is nothing to do and the Japanese food sucks.
And from that he spun it to her being unhappy in america and in NXT.
Now does she feel a little home sick? I would not doubt it and maybe even a little frustrated that she is the most over woman argueably in the company and seemingly gets pushed back when the new shiny toy arrives....I would not doubt any of these things completely plausable but I also do not believe she is at all disgruntled to the point where she wants to ditch her dream just to go back to Japan.
And tonight hopefully reinforced for her that NXT does value her immensely as they should because as great as all the other women are Io is on a whole level by herself as far as in ring ability goes and that level of just natural talent is not easily replaced if at all....in sports when a team gets a generational talent they put everything behind that talent....and she is that generational talent.

Looks like Rush stole that jacket from The Brian Kendrick. ayumidah: geez first y'all go on about Seth and Balor sharing leather jackets, and now this. Is nothing sacred?!

so as evidenced by my twitter account tonight, I am going to count every time Dream is mentioned until he actually returns. Tonight, the count was 3! Considering he hadn't been mentioned in weeks, that's interesting.

To add to this, Io just tweeted this out. twitter.com/shirai_io/status/1217672681904123904You would think if she was unhappy, she wouldn't plug the company or NXT or acknowledge much of anything.

Had to come in here and say this since it looks like nobody pointed it out yet. I was there live at Full Sail. I went back and rewatched it on USA. TV didn’t do it any justice: Shotzi eliminating Shayna was easily THE biggest pop of the entire night. The camera cuts away but that whole general admission audience facing the hard camera (where I was sitting) became totally unglued. It was an an incredible moment. Massive explosion of cheers. What a night.
And this is definitely Belair’s sendoff and a show of massive respect for her that she gets a final Takeover co-main event before hopping to Raw. Could’ve been given to a lot of deserving women. Says a lot they gave yet another to her. She be pushed to the moon on Raw.
