What's the point of signing John Morrison?

Is he ever going to move up the card? the way he was treated at Rumble you think he was set for a EC3 style depush.

Even the fact he returned in a backstage segment left a bad taste in my mouth. I'm not a huge fan but if they don't care then I won't either.

The writings on the wall for this one already. Morrison was a mid-carder for life when he left, average music, not particularly over.

Why they've decided to bring that guy back and not Johnny [insertnamehere], who was a huge star everywhere he went during his time away, is beyond me.

Here's to two years of sporadic use, random forgettable lesser IC/US title reigns and losing every match of any importance.

What value does jomo add? Well he is a heck of a talent the man can still fly around and do incredible acrobatics like he was still in his early 20's. He adds depth to the sd roster. Him and miz are poised to end the new day's title reign seeing as he has beaten both members in singles competition. And if you need another mid card challenger he can transition into that role as well. He theoretically could be pushed into a main event spot, but I have reservations about it. Jomo was usually kind of iffy on the mic, but there are ways to work around that. If miz got a shot jomo could do it too.

Morrison is on that same tier as a Kofi Kingston albeit slightly lower. Aka he's the "hey you're an upper midcarder that gets decimated by Brock if he feels like" guy and in turn that's why he got destroyed. Brock does that to most people. It has nothing to do with Morrison's standing with the company but more about the fact that they value Brock over damn near everyone else.

It's the same thing I've been telling the forum for years when it comes to Brock. He's that X factor. Nobody, unless you're positioned for the top spot at that moment and time, escapes that.

I'm just surprised they didn't swap Miz and Morrison last night. One dude at this point has a lot more upside than the other. Plus, Lesnar destroying Miz would have been so much more satisfying.
