Not every case is the same but considering her situation and her age, I do think she will really give this a go
I framed the question that way because no doubt she will attempt her hardest to make a comeback and she has youth on her side but it is just a matter of if her body will hold up
With the return of wrestlers like Edge and Daniel Bryan, just more so surprising that Austin never really did try to make that comeback tho he has admitted if he really wanted to he could wrestle a match

I would imagine she will try to do whatever possible to get cleared
As for Austin, Rock retired him - Im sure hes content with his legacy Brian was forced to hang it up way too young , and Edge was retired by Alberto -Im sure hed rather have Cena , Christian or Orton be his last match

Paige absolutely will try and make a comeback in wrestling, whether it's in WWE or not, but I don't see WWE letting her go any time soon (Especially after the Del Rio shit)

She'll need to inject her back with Edge's stem cells... or something like that.

There's been rumblings for some time, so I would guess so in some capacity.
I've said this for awhile, but I don't understand why they just don't use the talent with bad injury history in a limited/special attraction capacity and make it a bigger deal when they do wrestle as a selling point for more shows. A Brock deal, but for people most fans aren't sick of. Between 10-20 matches/appearances a year, no house shows. Keeps their bodies and creative fresh.

Because they don't have people retire unless it is serious. Edge and DB at the time of their retirements were never supposed to wrestle again but they wanted to come back If it was up to WWE, they'd love to have DB on a short schedule but he wants to wrestle until his legs fall off. Edge thanks to age more so then injury will wrestle as a special attraction for big feuds If Paige can come back, she will wrestle full time.

Her neck is in really bad shape. The last surgery was to reduce the pain she had. She could work some Royal Rumble, but not full time that's for sure. Her mom is always super clear about this.

If history has shown us anything, it won't be on her back.

And I disagree with DB on that, I think he's doing too many shows both in terms of risk to his health and his value. Same with Rey Mysterio. DB has hinted at retiring once his deal is up next year, though, but I figure he'll likely go to a reduced schedule like I've outlined, mostly due to family commitments with another baby on the way rather than concern about health reasons. I just feel WWE has to be careful, and the talent needs to be smart and reasonable. Not everyone needs to do 100 house shows. Not every town needs to see every star. Like a lot of people are upset that players with injury histories in the NBA are doing load management, complaining that they're not tough and can't battle through like the old guys did, that it devalues the regular season, that fans get robbed of seeing their favorite player, etc. I think it's brilliant and is adding years to careers. I know if that was me in that spot, I would want to compete but in a way that increased my ability to go at a high level for years to come and decreased the likelihood of further injury. Same thing with wrestling. Increase your longevity, increase your value.

Same thing with wrestling. Increase your longevity, increase your value. With DB I think it is just more so that's the way he roles. WWE basically told him you have to come to the back after every match so we can make sure you clear and he still went through it. Wrestling is just in his blood and he doesn't know how to go about it slowly However, he did say if he didn't retire the first time he'd probably would been thinking retiring now. So, I can see slowing down being on his mind because he got more of the run he wanted in terms of wrestling and his body may be telling him to slow down along with another baby on the way WWE needs an offseason or at least to give people time off. The problem is, not a lot of wrestlers I think would take time off. Time off is time for someone to step into your spot. They have a big enough roster to alternate but sometimes the things we think are simple aren't as simple for them. However, in strictly talking older established guys like Orton, Daniel Bryan, Samoa Joe, AJ etc ideally you would want them on a schedule to maximize their full abilities but those dudes are headstrong. The biggest obstacle is overseas which Randy has said he doesn't want to do anymore. He wants to make new stars so he doesn't have to go

I could see her coming back someday as there's been rumblings over the last year and she's still real young. I often forget she's still only 27 which is crazy considering that she's been around for a while. I like her but for her sake I wish she would stay out of the ring. Neck injuries aren't anything to play with and for some reason I get the feeling there's more fragility with her injury then with Bryan's and Edge's. When she suffered her career ending injury she had only been back like a month from the same injury.

Based on things she's said, I'm sure she'll try. But I can't get the image of the way she collapsed in her last match out of my head.
