I was with some friends hitting up some parties, and we decided to get food around 2am, which is around when the clubs here (FSU) close. I don't wanna sound racist at all, but where we went to get food was right near a club here that is predominantly black on saturday nights. Well we were driving up, huge crowd of people, since club just let out and we see six guys chasing this guy and when theyre right next to our car they catch up to him, punch him in the face and he falls down, than they shot him three times in the chest, he gets up for a second than just stumbles down. it all happened real fast, and we were panicking on how to drive away which we eventually did speed off after it happened. crazy, good thing i was drunk off my ass unless i wouldve been freaking out more, im now realizing the seriousness of the situation

This kind of reminds me of the time when some lawyer got shot in front of his bureau a couple months ago. Good thing I was away when it happened, (yeah, good thing you were safe too!). Apparently someone forgot to pay their bill.

He might not be dead though.
None the less, bad situation. You should talk to someone or that crap will eat you up on the inside.

Damn, man, I'm sorry you had to see that.
Similar situation is what caused me to move last September. The neighborhood we were in was nice at first, then went straight to hell (from neighborhood barbecues to an old woman being beat up for no reason in front of the store and drug deals in broad daylight by the elementary school). One night, my brother and law and I are just hanging out watching a movie and we here a loud pop. We go to the window (we were on the second floor) and we see a guy kinda crawling in the street in front of the house, and then this other guy walks over and shoots him again. Completely senseless, made no sense, but it was a nice indicator of it being time to move.

I was walking along a middle school with a friend of mine, and we saw two scrappy-looking Mexican dudes huddled over (away from us) by some bleachers. Nothing happened right then and there, but we decided to walk across the street and as fast as we could back home. Moments later we heard a loud bang, and later saw from a distance a helicopter fly close to where one of the guys got shot. It was later reported that a body was transported from a school yard field to a medical facility; the man was pronounced dead - the eerie part that this happened approximately 5 minutes after we had seen the two guys there. A year later my family moves to the next town over. o_____o;
