Just watched this, and as someone who typically really likes Wes Anderson, I really think he needs to change something up.
While having a quirky eccentricity in his movies, it's starting to really really get tiresome. I knew within 20 minutes that I made a mistake watching this because nothing was hitting. It was all of his best traits done in the worst way possible.
This was without a doubt his worst outing, I hope he scales it back at some point because these huge ensemble movies aren't that good. I'd like to see him go back to stuff like Bottle Rocket, Rushmore or even Moonrise Kingdom.

The movie was decent but it was easily the weakest Anderson movie I have seen granted I have not seen The Darjeeling Limited yet. It felt like a standard by the numbers Anderson movie but without the usual charm and entertainment that comes with it.
