Matches went a bit long but it got people showcased.
It'd be a 9 but I subtracted a point because I refuse to watch Bianca Belair.

Gave it a 6. The women's matches were pointless. They made Dakota look like a geek, people have cooled off massively on Bianca and Rhea (and the cracks are already starting to form in Rhea's support), and its pretty obvious at this point that the audience is clearly waiting for Io to return. The division absolutely needs her.
The next month is going to be a drag because the Charlotte/Rhea feud is going to be utterly heatless, and there is literally nothing they can do to fix that.

Much much stronger episode this week but also this was to be expected with this being a go home show.
This was a show that showed NXT's strengths but also showed what they can and should be doing more of...which is vingettes and not just people cutting promos.
Tonight did so much for the BroserWeights more than any match could have it really allowed the personalities and that chemistry to really blossom.
As for the rest of the show did a great job got a nice little showcase for Bronson in the opener brought back some guys that haven't been seen in a bit and let them show out and same for women.
Only gripes were the Tegan and Dakota stuff has lost pretty much all momentum they had after the WarGames turn and really would be best if they just end the feud at Portland because unless something really changes it is best to not drag this any further that momentum is not coming back to this feud.
And my other gripe but this is just how I feel...Bianca has deserved better in this feud yea she gets a one up tonight to a match she is going to lose but this feud has not been about her and rhea when it should have been and doesn't help that I never liked Charlotte getting involved at all from the start in any of the NXT's womens affairs.
Lookin forward to Portland show as it is pretty damn stacked and how it all starts to lead into Tampa.

8 GREAT bounce back episode. Thumbs up from this guy in the 18-49 demographic. I thought last week's episode was really lacking in energy, but this week's was my favorite yet. I loved all of the matches and vignettes/segments, especially the ones with The Broserweights. It did what a go home show is supposed to do and got me pumped to see Takeover. I hope this is a sign of things to come and they'll continue doing more character driven stuff each week.

I thought the matches were good, even if you knew the result just from the matchups themselves. I thought the promos and vignettes were outstanding too

A five.
I don’t understand why Garza is still on NXT when he’s killing it on Raw. Use that time for someone else. The CW match was good nothing we haven’t seen 100 times already in this era of wrestling. I just can’t get behind Rush and I love Garza but I hate his finishing move.
Reed, Grimes, Garrett, & Kushida weren’t winning.
These weren’t jobber matches... just right now NXT is still booking their shows the same way they did when they only had one hour, it just doesn’t translate well in two hours.
So that made Kai vs. LeRae felt like the only match real steaks
Not saying they need to book their shows like Raws or Smackdowns just some weeks it’s chore to sit through. Now that they having more monthly shows, they need to more with the less time they have to build up these feuds. .

Went 8 last week. I thought this week was better so 9.
EDIT: The NA Title hype video with Mark Henry was superb!
A little long, but Reed/Strong was good. Dream's promo was pure sex as usual.
Kai/LaRae was good, but this Nox/Kai feud needs a really good match on Sunday to live up to the intensity of the original attack.
Gargano vs. Grimes was fantastic. Very close to Takeover worthy imo.
Awesome Crusierweight match. Shocker with Lio and Angel I know lmao
Bianca/Rhea was a good segment.
Great Ciampa promo.
BROSWEIGHTERS VIGNETTES RULED!
Kusida vs. Cole. Good match, but they definitely got more gears. A rematch with 20 + would be insane.
That last shot of Ciampa and Cole to close the show was great.

7. An easy watch, but it's a damn shame how much they've continually botched Tegan vs. Dakota after the initial (badass) heel turn.
It could've easily been feud of the year, and thought for sure it was an easy booking trajectory that would've "made" both women by time it was over.

Something disturbing about this is Candice LeRae being involved in the feud much like Gargano/Ciampa, which also lost steam later on.

They probably shouldn’t have had that match against each other a couple of weeks back at all, let alone go to a finish.
There’s also the fact that they’ve cut like no significant promos about it. There’s been a couple of short backstage things, YouTube interviews and vignettes, but nothing in front of the crowd where they’re in each other’s face and can react to each other/the crowd and get really fired up. It’s almost at the point where they were better served staying as a team.

That Mark Henry hype package was pretty good until they got to the rumble and basically showed nothing. What a waste that was, Lee looked an absolute moron.
