NXT is live from Full Sail, and after the events of Portland, there's plenty of questions to be answered. As ever, please read the forum discussion rules on the WWE section of the board.
Before that, we need to address the matches announced prior to Takeover that will take place tonight. A couple of weeks ago, The Velveteen Dream returned and went after The Undisputed ERA. Last week, Dream vowed that after he's finished with Roderick Strong, he will "take care" of Strong's partner Marina Shafir and their son Troy, which has rightfully incensed Strong... though to be fair, he played a hand in putting Dream on the shelf for several months. Dream and Strong go one on one tonight, will the Strong Family nightmare begin tonight?
The NXT Cruiserweight Championship is on the line tonight as The Irish Ace Jordan Devlin defends the title against Lio Rush. The Man of the Hour bested his rival Angel Garza to get the shot, and he and Devlin have traded barbs online since. Will Rush claim the title back, or will it remain unwise to bet against the Ace?
A few weeks ago, the great launch of the Robert Stone Brand backfired, as his elite (aka only) client Chelsea Green lost to Kayden Carter. There's since been a repackaging of sorts, and tonight it's Take 2 as Green once again faces Carter. Will Green have learned the lessons of her defeat, or will Carter spoil Stone's plans again?
Now to Portland... and the never ending rivalry is on again, as Johnny Gargano used Goldie on Tommaso Ciampa to cost him the match against Adam Cole. After years of fighting, and what seemed like a reconciliation, why has Gargano decided to restart the war? And who's next for Cole?
Bobby Fish has more time to fry fish, as the Prophecy continues to fall apart, thanks to The Broserweights winning the NXT Tag Team Titles. Matt Riddle and Pete Dunne are the new champs, so how do the Undisputed ERA rebound?
Is there a new power alliance in NXT? If so, Dakota Kai claims she isn't aware of it. Tegan Nox had her bang to rights, when Raquel Gonzalez came out and shoved her off the top rope, handing Kai victory in a super violent Street Fight. Nox smells a rat, claiming that Kai had Gonzalez as a backup, but Kai denies having any knowledge of Gonzalez's involvement. Why has the big Texan - known in the PC as Rhea Ripley's best friend - decided to help King Kota?
All this, plus the continued dominance of Finn B谩lor, Keith Lee's big win, and the continued road to the NXT Women's Title being defended at WrestleMania, from 8/7c on USA in the States and BT Sport in the UK and Ireland!
