Vince Russo would be a proper swerve.

If they can get him, it has to be Matt Hardy. Everyone else in the group would get such a rub just by the association.

It'll be Tony Khan.
He can smite them... as in "fire".

Raven doesn't look like the Raven I want Raven to be and Raven hasn't looked like the Raven I want Raven to be since about 2000. If you mean like you wish Raven looked like he did in ECW & WCW, then I totally agree. But didn't he say at one point he screwed up his hair with too much dyes and chemicals over the years that now that is the best his hair is ever gonna look?

I think he also has problems growing his hair after James Mitchell craved a bunch of scar tissue on his head from that inadvertent scalping in the early days of TNA.

I don’t think that Matt works for the sole reason that he needs to reside in the Broken universe and I don’t think that the Dark Order resides there. Raven is a red herring, as is Daniels. I suspect it’s going to be something batshit insane like they worship Hangman Page or something,

Was it Zybysco that provided the trimmer? I know it was Mitchell that did the scalping, and it's because he held the clippers backwards, but they used sheep sheers because sweaty hair can jam human hair trimmers.

The whole Raven thing really puts me in mind of True Detective season 1. Anyone else?

I love Broken Matt but for me it would not fit at all. I know some folks don’t like the Dark Order and can’t take them seriously, but I really enjoy them and I think Broken Matts goofiness which I also love wouldn’t fit so Raven would make the most sense to me

"Everybody dies." It's Lance Archer! First thing I thought, too. Another red herring, because Archer is not a natural leader. I'm still sold on Matt Hardy for the time being. It's sort of just one of those things that makes too much sense. Matt gets to be as weird as he wants, and the Dark Order get a huge rub by association.

DO, while goofy (because, you know, they're a pro wrestling cult) are trying to play it straight -- the Broken Matt everybody wants to see wouldn't work at all tonally in the role of The Exalted One.

Broken/woken Matt is wacky comedy. The Dark Order are being presented more seriously.

I'm in the camp of the #1 possibility being Matt, but everyone is thinking that he will be the leader as the Broken One.
However, I think he will be debuting a new character if it's really him.
Maybe it's the true power behind the Broken Universe? I think the Broken entity isn't the puppet master, but rather another guise for the real master.
Or it will be another seperate entity from even that.
Either way, I kind of don't want it to be Broken Matt as the Exalted One as he's too wacky for the serious masked cult gimmick. Then again, Exalted One...Broken One. Hmm...
