And I don’t mean as in he giggited an underage Stephanie. Rather, I’m referring to how icy WWE seems to have become towards him-and vice versa. The most realistic version I’ve heard for why it took so for WWE to reconcile with the Poffo clam is that Vince had thought of Randy as someone who could always rely on, and thus he felt particularly stung when Randy jumped to WCW, taking a valuable sponsor with him in the process. And with Jericho I’m left with an impression that, after a twenty year career with them during which he rarely made any kind of trouble, they probably thought he was someone they could always rely on-which would leave them feeling all the more spiteful that Jericho not only helped launch a new potential rival, but that he’s also had a lot of criticisms he has put out. This sound plausible?

Jericho will be back one day (even if just for a HOF induction).

Jericho is legacy building, that's what NJPW and AEW are about. But he even acknowledged himself he likely finishes his career with WWE.

Eh, Savage allegedly told Vince that he was leaving via 2 AM drunk call so I'm sure there was some bad blood that Vince was able to tamper down for a bit until whatever happened in 1996 happened.

Jericho is usually pretty careful when he has someone on his podcast who's bashing WWE. He definitely has tried to keep that door open and I'm sure it is. I think it's just one of those things where since he's the top guy right now for their competitor, they'll do their usual petty things.

Nobody knows exactly what happened in 96, Prichard point blanked asked Vince but he just said that it was personal.

Here's the problem for Jericho - his good WWE relationship is with Vince and Stephanie, not so much Triple H. So once Vince is gone, I could see things being more challenging for him.

Vince made Savage an announcer and Savage wanted to wrestle among other things not the least of which was WCW backing a Brinks truck up hi Savage’s front lawn. Jericho could go back to WWE anytime, but wouldn’t be positioned as a top guy as he has in NJPW and AEW. He’ll eventually be in the WWE Hall of Fame without bad blood.

I'm sure there is a little bit of hurt feelings, but I doubt it'll ever be on Savage's level. Once Jericho finally hangs it up and leaves AEW, he's HOF bound for sure

Can't wait for Meltzer and co proclaiming that there was something going on between Jericho and Aurora Rose.

On the contrary, I think Jericho could end things with AEW tomorrow and walk into the WWE again within 24 hours.
Obviously he wont..yet, but I think his career is bullet proof at this point.

My theory will always be that is was Randy's treatment of Elizabeth that soured Vince on him.

What is HHH's deal with Jericho? Why the hate on him?
