Fantastic news. He may be at the top of the list of guys I can't understand how they never made it "big". It's about time that changes. Apparently he is on a backstage role,so don't expect much.

Fantastic news. He may be at the top of the list of guys I can't understand how they never made it "big". It's about time that changes. His experience in OVW/FCW really made him miserable and according to Bruce Pritchard Vince never got Colt's form of comedy. Bruce even said he was somewhat shocked they never used Colt or tried to since Colt was happy being a midcard comedy act. Then sounds like WWE wanted to give him a few tries as an announcer, but Colt stayed loyal to Punk after he left. Anyway Colt confirms it I feel good for Colt. Yes he had been with ROH for awhile, but it seemed like to me a lot of places cooled on Colt after his fallout with Punk if not no other reason than to not piss Punk off... which didn't make sense since Punk wasn't gonna work anywhere. I'm glad between this, New Japan, and NWA Colt has had a bit of a career resurgance

In honor of the occasion he's put up seven new shirts on PWTees. And a towel.

Tony literally just said he could see Colt taking on a full time wrestling role soon. Yeh but I expect a Cristopher Daniels type of role.More of a supporting act Daniels is a decade older than Cabana, that's not even close to what his role is gonna be Cabana has plenty in him for a legit run. And he could be used in matches to help elevate the younger talent's skills while also winning convincingly as well. As Tony said he can be used in multiple roles but wrestling should definitely be one. He's a known name, he can still go, and is one of the best technical wrestlers on the planet. So... yeah, Colt's a great addition to the roster

I'm just so happy seeing guys like Colt and Chuckie T getting a chance to shine on the big stage. Colt could have been gold in WWE had they let him

I’m thrilled for Colt
For all the s*** that has went on the past couple of years to being a big fan of his comedy and what he did on the Indy scene, he really deserves it
......On a selfish note, I always go and see his Edinburgh fringe show, I hope he still does that

The only look Chuck ever got was to work in production (I know he's not everybody's cup of tea but I never got why WWE never seriously considered him... or Impact/TNA for that matter). I'm glad Chuck Taylor is being treated well as part of the Best Friends and hopefully Colt gets a respectable run

I have never bothered to check out any of Colt's work to see him be as good as I have heard he is. Now I won't need to bother. Laziness wins! Colt is a very athletic guy who works a comedic style of wrestling, but way back circa 2003-2004 he did an extended tour of Europe where he really picked up and refined his approach to British catch wrestling; it made a lot of sense, as catch wrestling was created for working class British wrestlers who needed to not take too many bumps before going back to work in the coal mines or factories of northern England, and Colt integrated that into his own wrestling, allowing him to focus on spots and sequences built around him outfoxing his opponent, frustrating them, or catching them in pinning combinations rather than overpowering them or grinding them down. He's capable of working seriously, too: ROH put him and Homicide in a feud back in the day to give him a chance to work some brawls, and the culmination of his old feuds with Nigel McGuinness and Bryan Danielson led to some very, very good matches (e.g. a brawl with Nigel after a series of European-style technical matches, and a big two out of three falls World Title match with Danielson). But comedy and catch wrestling are definitely his bread and butter, and they've helped get him over in NJPW lately, as well, since he stands out as so unique there.
