Lost in the madness of tonight, on the pre-show, Cabana came out and made the save for SCU against Dark Order along with Daniels
A Pop for Chicago, an actual signing of Colt? I don't see any confirmation yet, but I really hope Colt finally gets to be used on a mainstream wrestling company, because he's awesome and has waited a long time for it.
Was an awesome moment regardless.

Haven't seen or heard it personally but a friend told me Tony Kahn said in a post show press conference that Colt has signed with AEW.

So he also staying with NWA as well? My prediction on that is that he may well show up there from time to time: low risk ring style there, connection with ROH (and thus Marty Scurll), and it sounds like his AEW duties will be a bit like his ROH ones where he doesn't necessarily have to be a full time in-ring performer, so he'll have some time to jump around a little, so I won't be shocked if he gets the ok, along with working some NJPW tours. That said, I completely forgot he had called an episode of Dark, and Colt's a pretty damn good announcer; this could mean that Dark (or whatever they decide to call it) might be heading to TV with a three-man booth, as well, just maybe with Excalibur, Tax, and Colt. And good for Colt; dude really was the model that the Bucks followed to carve out a great living for themselves on the Indies and international scene, which means he's one of the big reasons the alternative wrestling scene has evolved the way it has for the talent. His WWE run was tragically short, so seeing him get some mainstream exposure is great, especially getting to work with guys he's familiar and friendly with.

Give Colt couple last hurrah great matches against the best wrestlers on the planet, please. Just a lil' bit more than mash for Wardlow, that's all I ask. He should've done so much bigger things in wrestling. Then do commentary whatever.

He deserves one last shot at the big time after the way he's been treated.

So that’s Cobb, Moxley, and Cabana on their roster still working with NJPW, and Cabana seemingly still working with NWA and Cobb with ROH.
I do not envy whomever is having to write out these contracts.

If any company can help him be more than average it's AEW.

Glad to see Colt getting this shot. He's been a fixture of the indie scene for so long and been so influential in things beyond on-screen stuff that you can see direct lines of influence from to the Bucks. And obviously in recent times, having been dealt a pretty shitty hand and having a lot of that work bite him in the ass. Of anyone still out there and free who deserves this chance, he's top of the list.

I have never bothered to check out any of Colt's work to see him be as good as I have heard he is.
Now I won't need to bother. Laziness wins!

Honestly, one of the moments that really made me appreciate Colt (besides him selling me a shirt in York Hall years ago) was when he came to OTT a couple of years ago in the Tivoli. He was teaming up with a team here called Club Tropicana (basically a comedy team who are genuinely funny if you slot them right) against More Than Hype and he basically went out of his way to make new gear for the show that said “Club Tropicabana” on it and matched the colors Tropicana usually wear.
Like, Colt’s not a massive star but for him to go out of his way to make new gear for a one off team up for a show in another part of the world, even if it’s to go to one of the biggest indie promotions in Europe, was really cool and made the whole thing better you know.

Fantastic news. He may be at the top of the list of guys I can't understand how they never made it "big". It's about time that changes.
