feels weird to hear a show-closing promo from Mayu with no fans.

I thought as the show was starting they were announcing that Arisa vs Natsuko wasn’t happening, but my Japanese is basically none existent, so I wasn’t sure.

Don't know why right now, but Arisa couldn't be on the show. That's why Natsuko Tora wrestled "Super Strong Starlight Machine" after that battle royal.

So cool to finally see a livestream of a Stardom show! I didn’t get to watch the NY WM Week show live. I’m gonna miss seeing new uploads to the service. Who knows when they’ll actually have their next show.

Good show, and I liked seeing Liger on commentary for this. The English YouTube captions were rather....interesting, like Giulia wanting Kyona to "taste" her in the post-match promo. Then the "thighs" and "buttocks" talk during Jamie Hayter's match. I'd have to think some of those were mistranslations.

Just as a reminder the first round of the Cinderella Tournament is free to watch today!
Obviously the most anticipated matchups don't happen in the first round, but it's free and a good introduction to the roster. If you like it subscribe to their service for more etc etc

Very weird how Stardom is doing shows in front of audiences while NJPW is cancelling shows because of Coronavirus. Yet they are owned by the same company. It is, but Stardom is making all attendees take their temperature, wear masks, and use disinfectant upon entering and leaving seats. At a venue like Korakuen this is manageable but I think for the crowds NJPW handles it’s impossible.

That was an entertaining show. Shocked they had 2 draws at the end of the show. I chose Utami to win it all, and my partner chose Mayu, so we were both wrong.

Syuri vs Konami in what looks to be a heater I thought for some reason it was a 2 day thing. I blame this isolation. My partner called Giulia winning. Let’s hope she doesn’t beat Arisa, though she probably will. Rossy likes a super push.
