Budokan is gonna have to have one hell of a card. There’s no way they booked it without knowing they have guest talent, so I’m curious to see what the matches are. I think Sareee, Yoshiko, and Kairi are all possible.

It's a big deal they want to run Nippon Budokan, but don't go there just to say "yeah, we did it" yet only bring in the same number of fans they usually get-which has been around the 500-600 range.
Now, if they announced it with a big match or reveal that people are dying to see, that would make more sense. (Maybe they didn't want to overshadow Sendai?)

I think Sareee, Yoshiko, and Kairi are all possible. All three of those are interesting. We know Kairi Hojo is still under contract to WWE, but we don't know when she is free and clear. Sareee signed with WWE as well, and they officially announced it (coincidentally, announced just after Sareee had to pull out of Stardom show for being ill). Then COVID-19 hit and she never came over to America. And even more interesting is if Yoshiko appears. Longtime Stardom fans would know that she was essentially forced to leave the promotion. Sareee and Yoshiko are currently the tag champions in SEAdLINNNG. Rossy and Nanae (now of SEAdLINNNG, but helped establish Stardom) were together exchanging pleasantries at the Assemble show, so I could see the ice being broken enough for Yoshiko to appear on the show. No one in Japan seems to care any more about Yoshiko's past. It's mostly Western fans, it seems.

No Konami for the next couple of weeks. "Poor physical condition" is what Stardom reported. Suspected concussion from the Giulia match. Lady C says she's out the same because of her poor ring condition.

No one in Japan seems to care any more about Yoshiko's past. It's mostly Western fans, it seems. After today, I think we can expect at least some guests. They announced an all star battle royal, and Yuzuki Aikawa announced she will be in it. She also said she wants to wrestle Miho Wakizawa, Yoko Bito, and especially Yoshiko. While the theme of the battle royal seems to be having stars of Stardom past and present mix it up, I think it'd be a waste to congregate them all there. If I had to guess the two big ones it would be Mayu vs. Yoshiko (buddies, constantly call each other out in interviews, one of the big joshi matches left), and Utami vs. Kairi (Kairi said Utami was the person the roster she's most interested in). Maybe some version of AZM vs Mei Hoshizuki. Those are fairly big and maybe ambitious since it's outsider heavy, but make sense to me for the way they are talking about the show. They might just play it safe though and stick them all in the rumble

Please tell me they will have a Bea Priestley vs. Momo Watanabe match. Seems like they're building to that.

You can probably greenlight an appearance at Budokan, because Nanae and Yoshiko just invaded Stardom lol it's on. Yoshiko challenging Mayu and Momo and Nanae getting into it apparently.

The WK15 dark matches have been released (posted here for Stardom content):
Saya Kamitani/AZM/Utami Hayashishida (QQ) vs. Himeka/Natsupoi/Maika (DDM)
Mayu Iwatani/Tam Nakano (STARS) vs. Syuri/Giulia (DDM)
1) Interesting, no Momo.
2) Ooh, will the Mega-Powers explode?

I must say, one of my best friends has a cat named Momo, and it makes the name popping up in this context funny because I can't help but picture a cat mixing it up with joshi.

Been slowly working my way through the New Year Star shows in an effort to watch more Joshi and I have to say I'm having a great time. This is my first exposure to Stardom but I've really enjoyed most of it, especially the multi-person Tag matches which I'm getting a heavy Michinoku Pro vibe from. Already starting to gain a couple of favourites, and some not so favourites (sorry Gokigen Death) and looking forward to checking out the 10th Anniversary show this week too.

It’s always so awesome to be able to watch a Stardom show live. Can’t wait for the main event.

This show was going great until Mayu won but I suppose they are doing a title rematch, or given how they cried and what they talked about, something else. Anyway banger, Yoshiko and Mayu are two of the best to do it.
I hate Tam/Giulia matches but understand why this is the main. Emotional head shaving has to finish.

I thoroughly enjoyed the whole event. I’m a Saya Kamitani mark, but I thought she absolutely upped her game for the Red Belt match. Both her and Utami looked great, and even I bit on the near fall near the end of the match. Tam vs Giulia went how I thought it would, but was entertained none the less. Only match I was unhappy about was Momo vs Nanae, but that’s because Momo is also one of my favourites. EDIT: thought I’d add the 1st 2 matches that were streamed on Stardom’s YouTube channel. Just watched the 2 freebies on YouTube. Both were fun. I love AZM's flow into armbars, whether by an opponent kicking out or that flying one that looks spectacular. Kinda figured Natsupoi would win with Triple Germans when the last two damn near dropped AZM on her head. (Ouch!) Hope she moves up the ladder. Tag title match was interesting as well. Quick tags by Odeo Tai? No chain or shenanigans? All four looked really good. Short match. I'm liking Saki the more I see her in this role. Maika was the star here. She even radiates like one.
I'm on the fence subscribing to the streaming service.
