Damn, that's sad. He's mentioned his mental health issues in the past, I hope he's safe and he gets the help he needs.

Lio is one of my favorites both in and out of the ring and depression can be so damn crippling depending on the severity of what’s making one depressed. All I can say is that I hope he can pull thru this and seek any needed help

Would talking to Mauro help him?

I'm not very familiar with Lio or the situation; was there a triggering incident?

Hopefully he gets the help he needs. The brain can take you to some scary places.
All the best to him.

how many people who end up working for the WWE come to just hate every aspect of it? It just seems like such a cancerous culture

Sounds like partially depression and partially “damn, it sucks working for the WWE”
Hope he is looked after regardless

I’d say randomly pulling him from the wXw shows probably didn’t help anything.
Not saying it’s the main reason since it’s evident other stuff has been affecting him, in the business and outside, but it can’t be a coincidence he’s saying this after those events.

Could his personal issues could also be a reason as to why he was pulled from that event? IIRC, it was said he was pulled due to his commitments with NXT. Would it be outside the realm of possibility that was an excuse to give him time away for this?

Possibility but I would have thought if it were the case, they might have worded it that way to at least get some understanding of it. Not to say it wouldn’t have been slightly exploitative but considering other events that weekend, it would have softened the blow a little bit.

I was wondering why he was pulled from the NXT vs. 205 match, and I hadn’t heard anything about him being injured.
Hope the dude is okay. Depression is a bitch.

It certainly doesn't help when you've got guys like Rollins who will probably tell him to just "take his ball and go home" like he did Moxley. The WWE fanatic loyalty are toxic to their own roster, and more and more of these men and women are getting taken to task by the stupid macho alpha bullshit that is going to drive them further to the brink.

For clarification, Lio's mentioned his mental health issues in the past numerous times. This isn't solely tied into WWE and wrestling like some think it might, it's all about his entire life. Years ago the guy was hospitalized due to his mental health and that was way before he even reached WWE. Unlike a lot of people, Lio's got multiple goals and while one is wrestling the other's music which he's been pushing heavy on social media.
At the end of the day just hope he's ok and gets help given his situation is different from others who are in WWE who say they're in a bad state.
