I would like to see one on Adrian Adonis. Tragic death at 34, preceded by the weird turns of the last three years of his life after he'd once been one of the best workers in the game. The ballooning weight, the alleged coke issues, backstage trouble (the fight with Danny Spivey where he got destroyed, for example), his firing after WM3 and trying to stay relevant outside the WWF even though he was enormous and a victim of his gimmick by that point. Plus you'd be looking at the Adorable gimmick through a 2020 lens where you'd have to acknowledge how offensive that would be today.
Some of the best talking heads on Adrian are gone (Piper, namely), but you'd have Jimmy Hart, possibly Bob Orton, Muraco, Spivey, Tony Atlas, Greg Gagne, Jim Brunzell, and ideally Adrian's widow and grown daughters.

This would be one that you really wish Piper was around for. The stories he had about being haunted by his ghost and ext. He even did a show about that a few years ago.

I’d like to see a Dixie-era TNA episode.
Dynamite Kid/Bulldogs
CM Punk & the WWE.
Vince’s steroid trial
Hogan sex tape/racism/Bubba
Chyna
World Bodybuilding Federation
End of the AWA
This is a combination of my thoughts & my favorite other ideas mentioned in the thread.

Jesse Ventura was his tag partner for almost five years, I'm sure he'd have some insight.

Here are some topics I think have a realistic shot at becoming episodes if another season is greenlit: -Jake Roberts -Scott Hall -ECW -Brian Pillman -Eddie Guerrero -Chris Candido and Tammy Sytch -Art Barr -Marty Jannetty
I initially thought to add Miss Elizabeth, but they really covered much of her life and career with the Savage/Elizabeth episode.

Heenan said the reason was because Adrian could do it better. I don’t always listen to Jesse but I’ve never really heard him mention Adrian.

Was thinking that, and agree he'd be great (he was around for AWA and WWF years, including the entire Adorable era), but wasn't sure if Jesse was considered too big to even be available. He hasn't appeared in any other DSOTR episodes, has he?

Knock off the Cornette shit-talking. Both of you just showed you're no better than him and you're lucky I'm not banning you right now.

An episode about the wrestling career of Insane Clown Posse would be interesting.

An episode about the wrestling career of Insane Clown Posse would be interesting. That could be interesting. I think the only issue is that there's not a lot of "dark" to it. Wrestlers tend to put them over as being good dudes. Only real controversy I can think of off-hand would be the ROH show, or when they got invited to Terry Funk's ranch when he said he ought to be paid for a tape they put out with footage on it. They left money, and he figured it'd be like 50 bucks and would have been fine with that, but they gave him a few thousand.

They could do a 2 hour special on the whole situation about how the NWA championship got out of control in the 90s/2000s. Have Billy Corgan narrate it.

Just found out that Chris Jericho is the narrator for this season. Might check it out soon! I think I've seen The Moolah and Von Erich episodes from the first season.

Yeah, besides the early-days ROH snobs giving them crap and some workers not liking them just for being them, there's no real "Dark Side" to ICP's wrestling endeavors. Hell, they got screwed over more so than they did any damage. One great story on them was when they started JCW and started booking guys. They planned to give every worker on the card twice the amount they were booked for. Wind of this got out to the people they were contacting, and suddenly the wrestlers started asking insane appearance fees. Even after ICP found out someone spoiled their surprise and got taken advantage of by most of the wrestlers on the card, they still honored their original plan and paid everyone twice the agreed-upon amounts.

They'd need to start in 1984/85 because that's when the situation actually went out of control, with Crockett hijacking the title from the rest of the NWA, leading to everything that came after.

Yeah, I’m not a fan but from what I’ve seen and heard, they are amazing guys. They cancelled The Gathering this year saying they refused to endanger a single person.

I don't much about it, but how about the collapse of the NWA in general? Yeah it's almost relevant again, but it went from biggest "governing body" to minor leagues/irrelevant when WCW seceded.
