Not that big of an announcement.
- Just gives you another place to waste $60 on Mania (along with your cable/satellite provider) for people who have no idea the Network exists.
- Pre-show will be produced by Fox, shouldn't be much different than if WWE did it themselves.
- Old content being shown - similar to ESPN's Mania re-airings. Sports networks desperate for content.

WWE suddenly going HAM with promoting their shows being on PPV really puts that time when they called people "losers" for ordering on PPV and not subscribing to The Network into perspective.

I am floored by the idea of paying $60 for this show of all shows.

WWE will be assholes to things when it's convenient for them and also conveniently backpedal on said assholishness when they need to re-benefit from it, hoping that people have bad memory.

Who the f*** would pay $60 for Wrestlemania when they can get it on the network? Especially, this year?

Who the f*** would pay $60 for Wrestlemania when they can get it on the network? Especially, this year? Some areas don't have access to internet with fast enough speed to stream the show.

Which, kinda makes the addition of 2 online PPV options a little odd. Although it explains why they were so aggressively pushing PPV last night

WWE/FOX/Whattever needs some real $ right now because only 0.5 billion and possibly all their assets. @coronatimes

Yeah, that always looked stupid. It’s gonna look even stupider because I bet you this is the first step to moving Mania completely off the Network.

Who the f*** would pay $60 for Wrestlemania when they can get it on the network? Especially, this year? Actually the better question would be, why would anyone feel such urgency to waste $60 to see it live, as it certainly always will be available?

Well yeah, especially as it's been taped in advance to begin with.

I wouldn't be surprised to eventually see WWE move WrestleMania, SummerSlam, and the Royal Rumble off the network as live events and work out a deal with Fox Sports or ESPN+ to sell them instead. They're even using Fite to sell WrestleMania as a PPV domestically and internationally. AEW already has a similar domestic deal in place with B/R Live as does UFC with ESPN+, so it's an inevitability.
But this year, for this event? Literally makes no sense to stream it live via Fox Sports or Fite domestically when you can get it on the network for far less money.

No doubt in my mind there will be lots of people who spend $60 on this. Don’t know who they are but they are out there.
