I'm sure I posted some or most of these at various points, but can't remember doing them all in one thread. These were all taking by my stepfather when we (he, myself, my little brother and mom) attended Texas All-Star Wrestling tapings at Gilley's in Pasadena, Texas. We started attending on May 4, 1986 and attended weekly (even through their change to USA All-Star Wrestling) but when they shut down temporarily before selling to World Class, we stopped going. Here's "Cowboy" Scott Casey (he was the main babyface) being helped from the ring after an attack by Sheepherder Jonathan Boyd: -------- A battle royal. That's Al Madril holding Big Bubba (a rookie Fred Ottman, the future Tugboat/Typhoon/Shockmaster) on the left side, and the bearded guy toward the right is Bugsy McGraw: -------- A bloody Casey getting revenge on Boyd: -------- Casey and Al Gavagan (I thought he was going to be a star, but he never made it out of the territories) with me and my younger brother, Dee: -------- Casey rests as we get Big Bubba's signature: -------- Us with Tiger Conway Jr. He and Iceman Parsons were a team here. One time they had a train of fans going around the ring, with us as part of it. Ended up in the ring for a couple of minutes even. -------- With Nick Kiniski: -------- And with Tony Torres: -------- With referee Nick Kozak. This is one of my favorites because it turned out that Nick was a major crush of my mom's when she was a kid in the '60s (though she had long stopped watching except to take us there) and she marked hard when she realized it was him. -------- And another of Kozak, in the ring. That's the late Mark Nulty next to him: -------- Finally, one of my tickets from one of those shows. No idea why it says Texas Championship Wrestling, but they changed names three times in two years so this may have been a fourth that lasted a week or two.

Great photos and bit of history. These look like they were some fun shows to attend. Great characters and atmosphere.

Little Madison! Seriously though cool stuff I wish I had territory pictures to share. I just have the rather poor excuse of not being alive at the time

Those are really great! If you ever have a chance to meet Fred Ottman, take the picture with you, I bet he would really enjoy it.
