The originally planned Takeover matches continue tonight on NXT. Be sure to read the forum discussion rules for this show and AEW Dynamite on the WWE section of the board.
A rivalry that has lasted for three years finally ends tonight. It all started in May 2017 when Tommaso Ciampa broke up #DIY, attacking Johnny Gargano. Several high profile matches later, plus a reunion and another breakup, the time has finally come for their feud to end, as Triple H has stipulated that if they fight beyond tonight, both will be fired. Ciampa and Gargano will meet in an empty building with just a ring, a referee and some cameramen. It'll be A FIGHT TO THE DEATH (sorry AJ), or at least until someone is pinned or made to submit. Who will finally win the rivalry that has come to define NXT?
There's a new Queen on top of NXT... same as an old Queen, as for the first time in five years, Charlotte Flair reclaimed the NXT Women's Championship, defeating Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania 36. Tonight, Flair finds out who her first challenger will be, as six of the best in the NXT Women's Division clash in a high risk, high stakes Ladder Match. Will it be the Genius of the Sky Io Shirai, who should be in her element in this kind of match? Will Tegan Nox or Dakota Kai keep their eyes on the prize, or will they be too focused on each other? Or will it be Candice LeRae, Mia Yim or the wild card in this match, Chelsea Green? Will the winner even be in any kind of condition to challenge Flair after this?
Velveteen Dream got the better of Bobby Fish last week, and believes he's in prime position for a shot at NXT Champion Adam Cole, however Cole hasn't agreed to a title match yet. What more does Dream have to do to get his title match?
Before NXT, make sure you catch WWE's The Bump today at 10am US Eastern/3pm UK, as NXT General Manager William Regal will be on the show to reveal breaking news concerning NXT. What does Regal have in mind, and will it affect tonight's show?
All this and more tonight from 8/7c on USA in the States and BT Sport in the UK and Ireland!
