It's really odd how many people haven't read the whole thread before coming in with hot takes about AEW.

The live feed was showing last weeks episode on Thursday night, but on the website this weeks episode was uploaded. *shrug*

Unless this is not going into effect until this coming week, this delay might just be for the UK. For a few weeks now, UK users have been noticing they've not been getting the episode on demand as quickly as usual. U.S. subscribers have still been getting NXT on the Network on Thursday nights. The April 8 episode is up right now, at least in the U.S. Not just happening in the UK. It’s also happening here in Canada which sucks. I wonder if WWE and Sportsnet could strike a deal to show NXT 'live' instead of the 1 hour condensed show they've had a few days later.

Not like they have much original programming to show right now.

If there’s actually a 7 day delay in Canada that’s bullshit as we don’t even get the full two hour show on TV

Hmm. That's me done with the network once I finish off the last few retro shows on my watchlist. If you’re in the US, this doesn’t apply. Nah I'm in Ireland so unfortunately it does apply. Like I've said I've aome classic and unseen shows from the 80s and 90s i wanna check out, and then it's splitsville

I watch NXT every week and I did notice that the episodes were being uploaded much later. So this has actually been the case for the last few weeks not just this week.

IMO, just another way to devalue the network. The stupidest thing the WWE is actively doing is taking away features and planning on charging more for the content. Increasing delays, emphasizing PPVs off-Network, and sending their original programming off to competitors like Netflix all to get licensing deals is going to drive it closer to closure IMO. Only a matter of time before they make a deal with another streaming service to become an 'add-on' and nothing more.

Yeah, I don't wish this to sound like a 'tantrum' post but I've gone ahead and cancelled my network subscription after giving this some thought.
Here in the UK, it's one thing endure an extended wait that ostensibly shows a Thursday morning show on Friday mornings - it's another thing entirely to wait a whole week whilst avoiding spoilers on Twitter or whatever.
Particularly after ITV's handling of Dynamite it just feels like another barrier to UK fans to be able to watch wrestling live, or close-to-live.
Sort of the straw breaking the camel's back for me anyway - the empty arena shows (while obviously part of a much much bigger situation of course) are just not doing it for me, and the standard of WWE's main roster PPVs for the past 6-7 months has been very poor IMO.
TLDR; this is a reduction in the Network's new content output and tips the scales in balance of 'not worth continuing', for me at least.

Yeah, I can't wait a whole week to avoid spoilers. On 80% wages at the moment so things will need to be cut.

I'm sure that people are aware of this by now, but for those of you that aren't last week's episode of NXT has finally been uploaded to the wwe network.

Update (Canada at least):
You might have noticed, but even though NXT is delayed a week from airing, the new episode is available on the site. I watched this week's episode this morning.
